My Happy Marriage Episode 4 is highly anticipated among fans. My Happy Marriage (My Blissful Marriage) or Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (わたしの幸せな結婚) is an upcoming anime series which will be premiering on Netflix. Based on the light novel of the same name written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, it also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka.
The live-action film adaptation of the fantasy series was released in Japan on March 2023. Following the story of Miyo, who enters an arranged Marriage with a ruthless commander, officially got its own anime series announced to be directed by Takehiro Kubota under Kinema Citrus Studios. Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi and Momoka Toyoda are credited as the writers, and Evan Call gives the music.
Licensed under Netflix, the series is scheduled to run for 13 episodes. With an estimated duration of 20-25 minutes each, the episodes are available in English dub and subtitles. The opening theme song is Anata no Soba ni (貴方の側に。, “By Your Side”) by Riria and the ending theme song, Vita Philosophica (ヰタ・フィロソフィカ), is performed by Kashitarō Itō.

My Happy Marriage Plot
The plot of the show is set in the early fictional years of Japan, where possessing supernatural powers holds the utmost form of respect. However, Miyo, following the death of her mother, leads a rather miserable life with her stepmother and stepsister. As she possesses no power, she is deemed as a useless member of the household, and everyone in the family devalues her. She is married off to a ruthless commander named Kudou, and her life completely changes since then.

The story will mainly follow Miyo Saimori and Kiyoka Kudo’s married life. Other supporting and recurring characters include Kaya Saimori, Kōji Tatsuishi, Yurie, Yoshito Godō, Arata Tsuruki, Kazushi Tatsuishi, Takaihito and others.

In the next episode, Kiyoka will attempt to find out more about Miyo’s life and how she grew up. He also tries to accustom to his lifestyle and provide her with the things that she did not receive earlier. It will be interesting to witness how the story will unfold in the next episode.
My Happy Marriage 3 Recap
In the third episode of the series, Miyo and Kiyo grow closer in their relationship. After seeing Miyo cry when Kiyoka complimented her cooking skills, he realised that she has not been treated fairly by her family members. He tries to look more into her life so that he finds out more about her humble beginnings.
Kiyoka takes Miyo to the city the next day. When asked, she refused because she has never been to the city, but he insists it anyway. They both drive into the city and walk around the market looking at things to buy. Kiyoka asks his tailor to stitch her some new kimonos with the fabric that she liked, without her knowledge.
