Filming on a TV set is one helluva process. It requires long days and longer nights, lots of tiredness that make you vulnerable and good connections to keep the spirit alive. So, no doubt we have actors who fell in Love on the sets of the shows they were filming because why not right? Love is an emotion that takes people by storm and, a celeb is not spared the hard and fast truth of this emotion- the beautiful butterflies and the moments of misery.

Today, we are looking at a few actors who fell in love on TV shows- maybe they were playing the role opposite to one another or were just a part of the same cast. Some of these couples have stayed together over the years and, some have sadly broken up but, did give us an amazing glimpse into their love lives.

Game of Thrones: Kit Harington and Rose Leslie

Rose Leslie entered GoT during the second season as Ygritte who plays the love interest to Kit Harington’s Jon Snow. It did not take long for the two to find spark in their real lives as shooting in Iceland, under the Northern Lights really did something because within a span of a few months, the duo was spotted doing date-like things all around London. The couple briefly called quits on their relationship before getting back together and, thereafter moving in and getting married.

Harington and Leslie are still happily married. In fact, in July 2023, the couple welcomed their second child- a baby girl!

Euphoria: Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike

Another TV set story began with the onset of the second season. During the filming of Euphoria Season 2, Hunter Schafer aka Jules starts a romantic affair with a new character in the show called Elliot- played by Dominic Fike. Soon enough, sparks fly and, it is very Taylor Swift song romance-like. The duo confirmed their romance last year through an Instagram story of them kissing each other, putting the fans hearts at rest who have been shipping them since their first kiss on the show.

However, there is a piece of sad news concerning this couple as Fike announced his split with Schafer on July 6, 2023. The actor noted it’s time for the two to be alone for a while and have parted ways.

Riverdale: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart

You must be living under a rock if these romance rumours did not knock on your door. The OG Riverdale couple transformed their on-screen romance to off-screen in 2017 with some creative show-off and flirting over Instagram. When Lili and Cole truly became Betty and Jug in real life we are not sure, that is how smooth the transition was. But, this romance is a rather complicated one. ‘Sprousehart’ as their fans (also called Bugheads) dubbed them did not confirm their relationship for the longest time.

TMZ caught this couple in a bubble and the confirmation about the two dating came out in 2018. The two even attended the MET Gala together! As much as the two tried keeping their relationship private, it did not work. By 2019 it was reported that the duo have called off the relationship but, Lili made sure we knew that the two were not. Once even Cole cheating on Lili made the headlines but, the two remained strong throughout. In 2020, the couple parted ways for real and confirmed that they are no longer dating each other.

Riverdale: Camila Mendes and Charles Melton

Another set of actors who met on the set of Riverdale and gave each other the electric touch strong enough to get into a relationship- it is Charmila! Camila Mendes and Charles Melton started dating back in 2018, similar to their co-stars Sprouse and Reinhart. But, this couple was pretty public about their affair. In 2019, the shocking news came that the couple had broken off their year-long romance right after celebrating their first anniversary together. But, their story does not end here.

Mendes and Melton re-sparked their romance rumours in June 2021. And for a while, we knew that the pair is allegedly back together. But that does not seem real anymore as according to Mendes’ recent posts it is Rudy Mancuso who is sweeping her off her feet.

Once Upon a Time: Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas

Does falling in love on the set of a fairytale means you would have a fairytale romance? Because Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas’ relationship surely points towards that theory. The two played the iconic role of Snow White and Prince Charming and, in the process fell in love with each other. The two met in 2011, and went public with their romance in 2012, by 2013 the two were allegedly engaged and were expecting their first baby with everything ending with the two getting married in 2014. It is crazy, true and everything princess-y! It is 2023, the two are still together and, the last update was the duo going on a Disneyland trip together.

Gossip Girl: Blake Lively and Penn Badgley

Blake Lively and Penn Badgley did it before Cole and Lili (or as one says it- before it was cool!). This OG Gossip Girl couple are no longer together as we all know. But, it was not long after the first season of the teen drama ended that there were rumours about the two falling in love on set and taking it off, in their real lives. The two dated for three years and broke up in 2017 (very privately that no one knew!).
