Revenant Episode 5 Prediction

San-young might speak to her deceased father’s spirit that she sees in the mirror. There are chances of an evil spirit disguising as her father, so Hae-sang will save her from falling prey to it. Hong-sae and Mun-chun will near the missing girl’s case and eventually believe in Hae-sang’s ghost theories. While this conclusion might take a few episodes, the detective duo might experience a vile scenario that will push them to believe Hae-sang a tad bit.

San-young will ask her mother for the truth and clarification behind hiding her birthplace. San-young’s mother might open up about a devastating truth or simply let it pass to protect her daughter. Hae-sang and San-young will also meet new types of ghosts as they proceed with their journey.

Revenant Episode 4 Recap

In the fourth episode, Hae-sang and San-young visit a village called Baekchagol in order to know about a missing girl’s case from 1958 and the gruesome ritual they performed on her. When they both reach there, San-young finds that the village is her mother’s birthplace. She confronts her mother on call but before she could get an answer, San-young gets interrupted by a sudden death in the village.

Both Hae-sang and San-young start seeing wandering ghosts in the town who turn powerful due to the mistake of an old civilian. An elderly lady burns the cursed dolls so she can allow her ghost daughter to possess her. This act causes the village to be surrounded by all wandering ghosts including San-young’s father. San-young finds her dead father’s spirit looking at her through a mirror.

Meanwhile, Mun-chun and Hong-sae also get connected with the missing girl’s case when the former digs into the death of San-young’s father. After witnessing the mysterious links between all the recent suicides, the burnt wrist marks and San-young’s father, the detective duo proceed with finding more details regarding the 1958 case as they believe it might be the origin.
