Rafuchakkar Plot

Disguising himself as a rich airline guy, athletic gym rat, and such, a con man who mainly targeted women to cheat and defraud money gets arrested. But due to the lack of evidence, the truth stands sealed. Will the courtroom drama prove that Pawan is the scammer and elaborate on why he committed those crimes? Or will the mastermind escape the play?

Rafuchakkar Episode 7 Recap

The episode starts with Pawan getting the list of accounts from Jaidev, but he doesn’t open up about his fraudulent past to his best friend. Shockingly, Pawan has made a deal with Ritu Arora’s husband, Bandaria, and after plotting the kidnap, it is at Bandaria’s hotel where Pawan seeks shelter.

Shaurya gets solid evidence through the fingerprint she found on the glass. The fingerprint of both Pawan Bawaria and his disguised version, Sathish Chaudhary match. To strengthen the evidence, Shaurya and Ritu take a trip to Ranikhet, where Pawan spent his childhood. They find out various intrinsic truths about him.

Pawan returns to his home looking all bruised to gain sympathy from his family and the media. The common people claim that Pawan is innocent and demands justice. They also bash the political figure Sarvesh Pathania for causing damage to a fellow common man.

On the day of the hearing, Pawan decides to defend his case since his lawyer Jaidev goes missing. The evidence is submitted, and somehow Pawan escapes narrowly from them until Ritu Arora mentions Ashfaq. Then we see a flashback where Pawan’s wife and Jaidev meet with Ritu and Shaurya. What they could have possibly told stands as a mystery.

On the other hand, we see a tiny story about a man called Ashfaq who trains young boys to scam. When a young Pawan gets caught during an ATM fraud play, Ashfaq gets arrested. Ritu proceeds to say that the reason Pawan becomes a con artist is because of Pathania.

Rafuchakkar Episode 7 Review

Episode 7 is a headache in a good way. There are, again, so many cliffhangers and multiple questions that are dormant. Nobody knows who this Ashfaq is, and secondly, stating Pathania as the reason behind Pawan’s character development seems to have taken its root from his childhood. How is this possible? How can a huge political figure make a tiny town boy turn evil?

Did Pathania ruin the life of Pawan’s father, and is he seeking revenge for that? Possibly yes, because as we previously observed, Pawan’s father looks soulless every time. Note that when Ritu does the background check-up, the neighbours at Ranikhet call the Bawaria family cheaters. So Pathania could have ruined their repute.

Another question to ponder is how did Ritu Arora’s husband and Pawan get into ties with each other. Was it through Ashfaq, the possible guide of Pawan? Or is Ritu Arora playing coy as well? If the directors make Ritu the main criminal, I’ll love the show because that would make the plot captivating.

Speaking of the avatars, be it Ajay Chauhan, Kirtan Gada, and Sathish Chaudhary, why did Pawan proceed with the latter two characters if his motive was to ruin Pathania? Because the other two characters have nothing to do with the political figure, or do they? Did Pawan play all his games and blow his own cover to bring the flaws of Pathania in front of the legal system? Maybe yes.

The assumption I’m making is based on the data Pawan Bawaria gave to Ritu and giving her the option to stand by him or with Pathania. What was inside the pendrive about Pathania that would change Ritu’s mind is yet another mystery. Additionally, there are chances of Shaurya being a criminal as well because despite knowing her father’s involvement in the 2000-acre land scam, she’s still letting her father on the loose.

Maybe as Pawan states, Shaurya might also be taking revenge on Pathania because some link might be there. And if there is, then we will understand the sole reasons behind Pawan’s conman life and his ally.

Final Thoughts

A still from the series “Rafuchakkar”

There are so many questions, and all I’m asking along with the viewers is a solid answer and a hard-hitting climax. Since there are chances of season 2, obviously, the conclusion won’t be present. Atleast a strong climax will keep the viewers on hold to wait for the next season. From the way the show has been going, I’m expecting a really good move by the writers otherwise, the entire fame the series has collected would crumble.
