Selling Sunset Season 6 Review: New Agents, New Relationships But Same Stupid Drama!

Selling Sunset Season 6 Review: Netflix’s reality series stars Jason Oppenheim, Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young. Adam DiVello is the creator of the show. The new season has 11 episodes of approximately 40 minutes.

Just like every season, the new season focuses on how the real estate agents in Los Angeles sell lavish properties, mainly big mansions and houses (often owned by celebrities).

Selling Sunset Season 6 Review Contains Mild Spoilers

In Selling Sunset Season 6, we meet familiar faces with real estate agents Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, and Amanza Smith, along with Brett and Jason Oppenheim, the owners of Oppenheim Group. A new agent joins the brokerage firm – Bre Tiesi. Also, Nicole Young, who marked her presence often in the previous seasons, makes a full-fledged appearance this time.

A lot has happened since season 5. The major highlight was Jason and Chrishell’s break up. However, the duo has moved on and is now happy with partners who are quite younger than them. Jason Oppenheim’s girlfriend is a German model named Marie-Lou Nurk. Chrishell Stause is happy with their non-binary partner G Flip.

Even though the duo is happy, there’s some awkwardness. A few real estate agents, especially Nicole, can’t help but bring up Chrishell’s past during arguments. So Chrishell and Nicole were one of the major highlights of Netflix’s Selling Sunset Season 6. From accusations of taking credit for entire work to being a drug addict, you will hear several hardcore and shocking remarks from the women towards each other.

Selling Sunset Season 6 Netflix also focuses on Bre Tiesi. She is one of the “partners” and mother of Nick Cannon’s 8th child. Bre is competitive and knows how to get her work done. But Chelsea Lazkani has a lot of issues with Bre’s lifestyle. To be precise, her personal life. We even see Jason losing his cool several times for different reasons.

If you ask me to name some annoying cast members of Selling Sunset Season 6, I would say Chelsea Lazkani and Nicole Young. One has no control over her words and has no pause button when it comes to obsessing over other people’s personal lives, and the other can’t let go without causing a scene. But Chelsea tops the list.

I wonder if Chelsea’s issues were more about her professional insecurity towards Bre. After all, these two ladies put the most effort into their clients and making a sale. Except for Chrishell, others tried to solve issues or won’t stop gossiping about Jason’s relationship and his young girlfriend.

Additionally, it would take just a few minutes for these women to start fighting at every dinner table. Who even focuses on fights when they are sipping on expensive drinks? These people need to set their priorities right!

The new season has 11 episodes. But there was so much drama and tea being served; one can’t help but cringe binge it. Selling Sunset 6 also gave us a peak at the mess the firm has become. The real estate business is extremely competitive. But who will get the work done if the ladies spend so much time just backbiting and catfighting? Who will bring in the money? Maybe, disputes are a primary principle of the show and work is secondary.

Selling Sunset Season 6 Review: Final Thoughts

So is the new season good? Well, one doesn’t have any great expectations from shows like this. The new season hits the mark when it comes to melodrama, fights and controversies. There will be moments where you will laugh at how absurd and stupid everyone looks fighting over petty issues and times when the lavish, beautiful and spacious house will make you feel poor.

The series is now streaming on Netflix.
