The Good Bad Mother Episode 8 Twitter Reactions: Twitter Knows That Family Pictures are Never a Good Sign

The Good Bad Mother episode 7 has fans crying for Young-soon and Kang-ho, who just can’t seem to catch a break with their lives. Directed by Shim Na-yeon and written by Bae Se-young, the series stars Ra Mi-ran, Lee Do-hyun, Ahn Eun-jin and Yoo In-soo in main roles.

The slice-of-life series (나쁜엄마) follows Young-soon and her son Kang-ho who share a tumultuous relationship with each other thanks to her strict parenting when he was a child. Now an adult, Kang-ho is a cold-hearted prosecutor who chooses to keep his distance from her mother and lives in the city. However, when a tragedy strikes, Kang-ho is forced to return home to the village, wherein he finds a new lease on life and rebuilds his relationship with his mother as well as with his childhood friend Mi-joo.

Episode 8 is a lighter episode in comparison to its predecessor, with Kang-ho and Young-soon finally having something to celebrate. The mother-son duo are able to work their way to making Kang-ho stand on his feet, and with added enthusiasm, they are able to work towards getting Kang-ho’s memories back. Although Young-soon’s health continues to deteriorate, a shocking revelation stops everything in its tracks. She is able to find proof that Kang-ho knew that something bad might be happening to him before his accident, and he made sure to hide the proof before it was too late.

Young-soon finds his son’s genius planning, and the audience is shown that Kang-ho might have gotten involved with Tae-soon and Moo-byeok after learning the truth about his father. Although that part needs further validation, it becomes apparent that Kang-ho wasn’t acting like a brat for the sake of it, and he knew more than he let anyone know. Meanwhile, Mi-joo fights with her feelings towards Kang-ho but is able to set up her nail place finally successfully. As Kang-ho’s closeness grows with her child, the audience is given a hint that their father might be closer to home than she is letting on.
