It has been a long time since we saw something romantic. Last year, Prime Video treated us with diverse tales in different cities with Modern Love Mumbai and Modern Love Hyderabad. Well, it is now time for romance lovers to enjoy Modern Love Chennai. The third Indian adaptation of the English series Modern Love has finally got a release date. Guess what? You don’t have to wait for too long. It’s releasing this month, and the release date is closer than you can imagine.

Along with revealing the Modern Love Chennai release date, Prime Video India also dropped the episode names and everyone associated with it. The Tamil series will have 6 episodes and will be produced by Tyler Durden And Kino Fist. Created by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, the anthology series will release on May 18, 2023.

Now coming to Modern Love Chennai episode names, the first episode is titled Lalagunda Bommaigal, and it is helmed by Rajumurugan. It features Sri Gouri Priya, Vasudevan Murali and Vasundhara, and the music is by Sean Roldan. Episode 2, titled Imaigal stars Ashok Selvan and TJ Bhanu, and it is directed by Balaji Sakthivel. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music.

Kaadhal Enbadhu Kannula Heart Irukkura Emoji is the name of the third episode, directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar. Actors Ritu Varma, Samyukta Viswanathan, Pawan Alex and Aniiruth Kanakarajan are a part of it. GV Prakash Kumar composed the music. The fourth episode is titled Margazhi, and it is directed by Akshay Sunder and stars Sanjula Sarathi, Chu Khoy Sheng and Srikrishna Dayal.

The name of the fifth episode of Modern Love Chennai Prime Video is Paravai Kootil Vaazhum Maangal, and it is directed by Bharathiraja. The episode’s cast includes Kishore, Ramya Nambessan and Vijayalakshmi. Ninaivo Oru Paravai is the name of the 6th episode, which stars Wamiqa and PB, and it is directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja. The music for episodes 4, 5 and 6 is composed by the stellar Ilaiyaraaja.

Thiagarajan Kumararaja, the creator of the anthology romantic series, said in a media statement, “Love stories and rom-coms have never been my cup of tea. Thus, Modern Love Chennai was an interesting challenge. It has been a pleasure to partner with Prime Video to bring the latest Indian edition to the viewers.”
