Bands That Broke Up in the Last Decade

One Direction

The news of One Direction officially disbanding was like the end of the Western boy group era. After being put together on The X Factor in 2010, the group remained unrivalled for years until 2015, when group member Zayn Malik left the group, wanting to live a normal and private life. The group continued with the four members – Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson but by the end of the year, they went on a hiatus that led to a complete disbandment.
