Barry Season 4 Episode 3 Cameos Explained: How They Impacted Bill Hader’s Show

Hold on to your seat folks, because Barry Season 4 Episode 3 Cameos have taken the internet by storm with their unexpected and thrilling appearances, along with the usual heart-pumping drama! From an Academy Award-winning filmmaker to SNL alumni, this episode has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride. The episode, directed by the comedy maestro Bill Hader, will leave you on the edge of your seat as the protagonist faces some serious consequences. Don’t miss out on the action and prepare yourself for a detailed and comical description below. Notably, the series premiers on HBO Max, 10 pm ET.

Barry Season 4 Episode 3 Cameos

At first, the episode starts with Noho Hank acquiring a permanent fix for Barry, by hiring a pair of hitmen. The organized crime mafia head takes the help of Guillermo del Toro’s character, who recruits not one, but two assassins for the job. The eccentric hat guy makes for another interesting addition to the show, as he wounds a duo of absolute losers for the job.

Guillermo del Toro’s character interacts with NoHo Hank, and his love interest, as he finalizes the deal for them. The dubious yet comical nature of his cameo makes up for a hilarious conversation. And also leads to a domino effect, that makes way for a bloody (quite literally) climax of the instalment.

Still from Barry

The second in line, Fred Armisen (Bill Hader’s longtime SNL castmate) also makes an appearance in the series. His character pays a visit to Barry during a pivotal scene when the latter drops by to assassinate Berkman, along with his good-for-nothing partner.

The scene pans out during Barry’s FBI negotiations, where Fred Armisen camouflages as one of the law enforcers on the job. The cameo is extremely ironic, as his assassin avatar heads into a full gun-blazing fight, right before the FBI provides Barry with a complete witness protection guarantee.

In the scene, Armisen points out a gun at Barry and comically shoots his own hand off. This leads to a ruckus of a situation, as the assassin’s partner kills the rest of the individuals on the scene. This also creates an improvised action-based moment for Barry, who empties an entire round of bullets using his gun skills.

The episode ends on this unexpected note and makes way for Barry to escape prison. The unstable hitman leaves the scene at last, and ventures off to a safer exit, without causing any more harm. Expectedly, it is quite possible that Berkman might reach out to Sally in the next episode, as he is still not over his delusional idea of love. As a result of Barry’s unfiltered rage, it is also quite possible that Gene might face the repercussion of violating his trust, sooner than before.
