Divorce Attorney Shin Episode 6 brings people from Shin Sung-han’s past to his office steps & makes him reconsider his sister’s death. While Hyeong-geun braces himself to bid farewell to his married life, he has been holding onto it.

The cast of the series includes Cho Seung-woo as Shin Sung-han, Han Hye-jin as Lee Seo-jin, Kim Sung-kyun as Jang Hyeong-geun, Jung Moon-sung as Jo Jeong-sik, Kang Mal-geum as Kim So-yeon, Jeon Bae-soo as Park Yu-seok, Han Eun-seong as Choi June, Cha Hwa-yeon as Ma Geum-hee, and Noh Susanna as Jin Young-joo among others.

Episode 7 begins with Sung-han dressing up in a new suit before meeting up with Yoo-seok where he gives him Yeong-ju’s card and leaves. We then see that Yeong-ju had given her card to the man we saw in episode 6 when he came to question his wife on why she filed a case against him.

Yeong-ju is surprised that Sung-han was this easy to trick but after the message relayed to her by Yoo-seok, she begins to doubt if Sung-han could actually take the upper hand in this case. Elsewhere, Sung-han meets Geum-hee and asks her as Ju-hwa’s brother if Yeong-ju was in Hawaii at the time of the accident. This time he gets his answer and Geum-hee confirms that Yeong-ju was indeed in Hawaii.

Later, Sung-han arrives at his office and surprises everyone with his getup which leads them into thinking that he may have found someone, which he denies. He soon gets to business while Hyung-geun leaves to have lunch at So-yeon’s.

There, he is served a special lunch which has been prepared as thanks which are different from what he had in mind, but he quickly forgets about it with the food in front. Meanwhile, Yeong-ju meets her father-in-law and asks for his help in counterattacking Sung-han, but seeing her actions go to waste, she instigates the thought that her mother-in-law is meeting Sung-han in order to get a divorce.

However, this too does nothing so she begins to prepare to have the new case in her hand known to the public. Meanwhile, Seo-jin tries to call a client only to find out that she is in the hospital due to an overdose. She soon rushes there with Choi Joon and talks to the woman’s parents and reveals their daughter’s intentions for filing divorce.

Suddenly, the woman’s husband appears and behaves like he is worried but the father does not take any of these words seriously and tells him to leave. Seeing this, Seo-jin remembers her relationship and how well her ex-husband behaved in front of others. Later, Seo-jin then tells Choi Joon to keep an eye on the husband while she herself goes to take to the patient.

She tries to motivate the woman to find another route for herself instead of trying to end things, but it doesn’t seem to be fruitful in the end. Elsewhere, Sung-han is trying to find a way to prove that his client has not hit his wife while discussing the same with Hyung-geun, but there doesn’t seem to be much progress.

Disappointed, she later goes to So-yeon’s while Choi Joon tells the others of his tactic of following the husband and finding out the kind of person he is. However, his truth is soon revealed when Seo-jin comes back and checks on his progress.

Elsewhere, Geum-hee avoids meeting her husband again while Sung-han recalls a memory from the past. The next day, Geum-hee meets her husband and declines his request of moving back while telling him that she will soon be leaving for Hawaii. This makes her husband wonder if Yeong-ju was telling the truth.

Later, Seo-jin’s ex-co-worker arrives to visit her while Sung-chan has a meal with Geum-hee when he receives a call from his client who asks him why his story is all over the internet.

Sung-chan rushes back to the office and thinks of the ways he can handle the situation. Later, he calls the man and tells him to stay strong because he is soon going to make sure that gets back the honour that he had lost through this case.

Summing Up: Divorce Attorney Shin Episode 7

The episode brings in another mix of emotions along with moments that keep us hooked to the show as these different emotions bring us an eventful journey through the episode. The three friends once again bring just the right amount of laughter and lightness to the show which freshens us up after the many heavy scenes that go through the episode.

As Ju-hwa’s truth is slowly brought forward, Sung-han’s many emotions and regrets show us the feeling that he has felt during this time. The mother-in-law is really winning hearts with her actions and let’s hope we see more of her soon.
