Love Shadow and Bone Season 2? Here Are Some More Fantasy Shows That’ll Thrill You

Shadow and Bone Season 2 has been released and fans of the Grishaverse are having the time of their lives, intricately enjoying the latest season of the show that has the answers to many questions and the foundations of new plotlines to be explored further. The Series is developed by Eric Heisserer and is based on the book series by Leigh Bardugo set in the Grishaverse. The series is produced by 21 Laps Entertainment, Chronology and Loom Studios and distributed by Netflix.

The main cast of the show includes Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov aka the Sun Summoner, Archie Renaux as Malyen Oretsev aka Mal, Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Amita Suman as Inej Ghafa, Kit Young as Jesper Fahey, Ben Barnes as General Aleksander Kirigan aka The Darkling, Zoë Wanamaker as Baghra, Daisy Head as Genya Safin, Danielle Galligan as Nina Zenik and Calahan Skogman as Matthias reprising in their roles from season one. In Shadow and Bone Season 2, we have some new faces in the team too, including Lewis Tan as Tolya Yul-Bataar, Patrick Gibson as Nikolai Lantsov, and Anna Leong Brophy as Tamar Kir-Bataar and Jack Wolfe as Wylan Hendriks.

The total number of episodes in Shadow and Bone Season 2 is eight. The runtime of each episode is 40-60 minutes. His Dark Materials

It has not been long since the last season of His Dark Materials left us all in tears. But, in case, you haven’t been a part of that crowd, let us tell you that this fantasy drama is yet another book-to-screen adaptation that will engage you like no other. Based on the trilogy of novels of the same name by Philip Pullman, the series is written by Jack Thorne and stars Dafne Keen, Ruth Wilson, Anne-Marie Duff, Clarke Peters, James Cosmo, Ariyon Bakare, Will Keen, Lucian Msamati, Gary Lewis and several others.

The story starts off with the central character Lyra, who is searching for her missing friend and, in the process discovers a plot that is greater than just kidnapping and related to the invisible cosmic substance called Dust, which is the seed for a potential war. It is streaming now on HBO Max.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

If you are into dark, funny, horror, supernatural and fantasy elements in a show, this is the show that will not let you leave your goddamn seat. Based on the comic book series of the same name by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Robert Hack, the show is developed by the writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa himself. The cast features Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, Lucy Davis, Chance Perdomo, Michelle Gomez, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle and more.

It is the reimagined storytelling of the iconic Sabrina Spellman, who is in a conflicting battle between the witch and mortal side as the evil forces of the Universe constantly threaten everything she loves. The show is now available on Netflix.

The Witcher

The Henry Cavill series needs no introduction because the show is literally the talk of the town all the time! Created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the series is based on the fantasy novel series of the same name by Andrzej Sapkowski. We have Cavill play the titular character and is supported by Freya Allan, Eamon Farren, Anya Chalotra, Joey Batey, MyAnna Buring, Royce Pierreso and several other notable stars. It explores the legend of Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg and Princess Ciri and how their destinies are interconnected. Watch it here.

Once Upon a Time

People don’t talk enough about this ABC series which is basically all of our fantasies and fairytales come to live together, all residing under the same roof. Created by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the series flaunts a massive star cast that includes Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Jared S.
