Family (패밀리) is an upcoming South Korean drama that will be released on tvN. The show is directed by Jang Jung-do alongside Lee Jung-mook and written by Jung Yoo-sun. The plot of the show will follow the life of a secret agent who is a sharpshooter by night and a devoted family man by day.

Earlier today, tvN released the official poster for the upcoming K-drama, which features Jang Hyuk in a double avatar trying to balance his life between being a secret agent and a husband. He is seen standing in the middle, and the scene is split in half, showcasing the double life that he has been living. On the left side, he is wearing a black suit and tie while carrying a handgun. Meanwhile, on the right side, he is seen wearing casual clothes and an apron with a bag full of vegetables.

Moreover, there is also a clear difference in the background. His left side features Chae Jung-an, who is also wearing a beige-coloured suit and represents Hyuk’s character’s partner from work. On the other hand, Hyuk’s right side features Jang Na-ra, who is playing the character of his wife and represents his family life. The poster puts the story of the series into perspective and helps the audience have a better understanding.

The plot of the series follows Kwon Do-hoon, a secret agent who is working for NIS (National Intelligence Service). He is a veteran sniper with excellent shot accuracy, which makes him a valuable asset for the organisation. Married to Kang Yoo-ra, he leads the life of a devoted husband and family man by day working in a trading company. Even though Yoo-ra seems like an ordinary woman, she has a secret that can lead to complicated situations.

Additionally, Oh Chun-ryeon is a professional NIS operative and Do-hoon’s immediate senior. He has been able to hide his true identity and kept his family in dark for a long time; will he be able to continue to do so? The comedy-drama consists of a star cast like Lee Soon-Jae, Kim Kang-Min, Yun Sang-Jeong, Kim Nam-Hee and more.

With 12 episodes in total, the upcoming K-drama will be released on April 17, 2023. Each episode will have an approximate runtime of 60 minutes and will be streamed on Disney+ worldwide.
