Rana Naidu is an upcoming crime drama series releasing on Netflix this week. The series is adapted from the 2013 crime show, Ray Donovan and is created and co-directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma. Produced by Sunder Aaron under the banner Locomotive Global Inc.
The story is adapted by Ananya Mody and the screenplay is written by B. V. S. Ravi, Karmanya Ahuja and the dialogues are by Vaibhav Vishal. There are said to be 8-10 episodes in total. It follows the life of Rana Naidu, the go-to guy for everyone in Bollywood when they have a problem.

The ensemble cast of the series includes Rana Daggubati as Rana Naidu, Venkatesh Daggubati as Naga Naidu, Suchitra Pillai as Pooja Naidu, Gaurav Chopra and Surveen Chawla as Naina Naidu in lead roles. Along with Sushant Singh as Tej Naidu, Abhishek Banerjee as Jaffa Naidu, Ashish Vidyarthi as Raj Naidu, Rajni Basumatary as Nyla, Adithya Menon as Marcos Dcosta, Ashwin Mushran as Farzad and Tenzin Dalha in supporting roles.

Rana Naidu Plot/Synopsis
The official synopsis of the series reads, “Rana Naidu can solve any problem in Bollywood. But when his father is suddenly released from prison, the one mess he can’t handle may be his own.” The story will follow Rana Naidu, who is deemed as the person who can solve any problem for high-profile people & if he is involved in any case – that means something big must have happened.
But as charismatic & strong as he is in the public eye, equally emotional and protective of his family. And there’s a big reason for it too – his own father, who gets released from prison early. Due to his father’s violent and dangerous past, he wants to keep him far away from his wife and kids but his father thinks otherwise.
Claiming to be a changed man after spending years in jail, he wants to be part of his son’s life but Rana is highly suspicious of it & it looks like the suspicions might be right. While the war wages on between the two heads of the family, we will get to know what happened between them in the past, in the series.
