However, the fun in this film lies in understanding how the journalist starts rethinking his own marriage when he reports the annulment and starts conducting research. Marry Me Again is streaming on Netflix.

Sommore: Queen Chandelier

This comedy special features the queen of comedy as she explains the different aspects of prayer, being a woman, getting free stuff and much more. Additionally, the performer is seen wearing a black ruffled top with slim bottoms and hair coiffed to perfection. Sommore: Queen Chandelier will be streaming on Netflix.

February 22

Call Me Chihiro

This Japanese film is based on a former sex worker who runs a bento shop. It follows her life and struggles as she overcomes discrimination, heartbreak and, most of all, other men who are ready to take advantage of her. This free-spirited and optimistic bento worker comes under something difficult and has to rethink her life. Call Me Chihiro will be streaming on Netflix.

The Strays

When this British woman starts seeing two figures from her past, she is putting herself in question in front of the whole neighbourhood. This Black woman has been living her perfect life in the suburbs, and now that she is being haunted by the people she left behind, something dangerous is coming her way. The Strays will be streaming on Netflix.

February 23

An Inconvenient Love

This Star Cinema release follows a couple from different social classes attempting to make their relationship work amidst life stresses. She wants to become an animator abroad, and he wants to build his own plant shop. While the female protagonist is confused about how they could be together when she has to leave, the two come up with a contract to make sure they follow the rules and end it in time. An Inconvenient Love will be streaming on Netflix.

February 24

We Have a Ghost

What starts off as a classic horror movie turns into something interesting when one of the family members befriends the ghost and shares the videos on YouTube to get views. Soon, the boy starts becoming increasingly interested in the ghost’s life and tries to figure out what happened to him and what caused his death. We Have a Ghost will be streaming on Netflix.

Theatrical Release

Selfiee

This film explores the concept of fame and its added privilege especially when it comes to the law. When a police officer figures out that his role model has been engaging in illegal behaviour, he decides to step up as leader and take charge of the situation righteously. How far can people go to get justice, how much do the people around him need to be hurt before he realises that taking on a privileged man is a bad idea. Selfiee is coming to theatres on February 24, 2023.

Missing

This is a thriller, mystery film starring Nia Long and Storm Reid that follows the latter’s character as she attempts to find her mother when she doesn’t return home from her trip to Colombia. Gathering all the resources that she can, the protagonist uses the internet to conduct the most thorough searches to find her mother. Police and red tape all fall when this investigation blows open. Missing comes to theatres on February 24, 2023.

Marlowe

An investigation into a man turns awry when many start getting involved in it. Detective Philip Marlowe is hired by a rich woman in 1930s Los Angeles when her husband suddenly disappears. It starts off as a simple case but escalates to something much bigger than either of them. Many people get involved and many people ask him to stay away. Marlowe is coming to theatres on February 24, 2023.

Borrder

When an agent from the Defence Intelligence Agency tries to catch four terrorists working in Agra, he is met with pain and even some torture. There are many people working behind the scenes to terrorise this city and with the elections just around the corner, it is imperative that this situation be wrapped up before it gets too big. Borrder is coming to theatres on February 24, 2023.

Cocaine Bear

What should be an incredibly tragic even has been turned into something that both honours that situation and humours it. There is a bear on the loose and it has consumed enough cocaine to jump on trees, tear people apart and cause general chaos around the neighbourhood. While this does sound outlandish, the story is based on true events. Cocaine Bear will come to theatres on February 24, 2023.
