Here’s our pick of some of the best SVT ebullient tracks that will leave you transfused by joy.

Mood Boosting SEVENTEEN Songs that Push You to Keep Your Spirits High

Just Do It by BSS

Before we had the recent first comeback of our favourite special unit, we held on to their digital debut single Just Do It that trained us to “Kick away life full of worries”, while also advising us “You only live once so live well”. Just keep walking without any hesitation and take pride in who you are. Even if the indecisive and wavering world around you may not have supported you, Seungkwan, Hoshi and DK are here for you to fire up your parade and make you feel confident about yourself.

Fighting by BSS

It’s a proven fact by now, BSS songs are the happiest pill you need to make it through the day. The leading track of the trio’s official debut album avidly spells out the banal routines followed by us all as if a ticking clock resides inside us too. From a relatable perspective, the lyrics of the song even express how the grass always seems greener on the other side, And while we’re all just “earphone-wearing zombies” at this point, then why not tune into Booseoksoon’s melody, especially when they promise us “on a day like any othеr day … We’ll be thеre to sing it for you”. Keep fighting through it, BSS will cheer you on endlessly.

MANSAE

Go by Seungkwan (Record of Youth OST)

Much like the feel good ambiance of the K-drama, Seungkwan’s OST is the push you need today if you feel disheartened about not having accomplished what you had set your mind to. “Whatever you feel It’s gonna be okay” – Remember, that all your feelings are valid, and while it’s okay to not be okay, there’s always tomorrow. Your fears will challenge you everyday, so build a buddy system around you that always motivates you instead of putting you down so that you can have that extra support to fall back on, and cry and laughter about your days with.

Very Nice or Aju Nice

While the song is essentially about ‘feeling nice’ or experiencing butterflies in your stomach for your first love, the song’s fast-paced approach and beats will have you head banging to the peppy trumpets and and feeling Aju Nice in no time.

Go! by DK (Twenty-Five Twenty-One OST)

Even the K-drama starring Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Tae-ri and others is one of the most heartfelt series out there that speaks gravely about rebuilding one’s life reaching out to one’s distant yet big dreams. So, when it feel like your “heart beats like it’s going to explode”, DK’s song guides you to “Shake away all these uneasy thoughts” and brace yourself – “Ready, get set, go, get it, go”. It’s not as hard as things may seem like right now, and the finish line is actually closer than you may have anticipated.

Clap or Baksu

Having gained a fanbase all to itself especially after MONSTA X’s Jooheon’s guest appearance on Produce X 101 as a mentor, the word ‘Baksu’, i.e. ‘Clap’ inspires you with an invigorating vivacity, much like the dog itself. The initiating electric guitar riff is enough to put a smile on your face.

The members of the group encourage you to clap and resonate with a positive force even “When you stain your white shirt (And then)/ When you have no money on your metro card (times like this)/ Yeah, on days like this when it starts raining right before you go home”. And if nothing works for you Seungkwan and DK’s bridge lyrics – “Have some courage today/ Get under the covers and shout/ One more time” – will give you the strength shout it out and not keep all your feelings bottled up.

Fearless

The title is enough to convey the much-needed message. Starting off the band’s 7th Mini Album, Heng:garae, its lyrics aptly express what we wanted to achieve with this ‘Monday Motivation’ post. “Remember the wound/ I was scared yesterday/ Today, nobody knows” – while we all carry the memories of our past wounds with us, each day is a new beginning and grants you the opportunity to start anew and wash away those fears – “New day, new night, new me born, new me/ Break this wall, it won’t be scary today”

Don Quixote

Cheers by SVT Leaders

Taking the song belt out by the three unit leaders of the group – S.Coups, Woozi and Hoshi – as your ultimate inspiration, if you can’t forget the harsh criticisms that you may have received in the past, and instead use them to fuel your journey ahead and prove everyone who’s ever doubted you wrong.

HIT

Making for one of their most hard-hitting choreography to date, HIT‘s visuals are quite similar to what your week ahead may look like – a breathless routine stacked with endless tasks at hand. It will stand tall as your anthem for motivation and will help you get through your schedule while probably even making you bust out a move or two.

Holiday

What is that we all look forward to after a long week of hustle? Of course, a holiday. This track will fill you up with a positive boost of energy as you envision your plans for the weekend.

Our Dawn Is Hotter Than Day

Amidst all the feels of the adrenaline rush so generated by the aforementioned songs on this playlist, let’s take it a notch down and conclude the fiery list of songs with a heart-warming embrace of this 2018 song off the group’s 5th Mini Album You Make My Day. Each member’s sweet vocals and suave rap portions make you feel safe and snug in their affectionate warmth.

SEVENTEEN is well-know for bringing out dozens of upbeat tracks that instantly put you in a good mood. Listen to their discography on Spotify. Let us know in the comments if you have a go-to favourite that always makes you happy and improves your mood even in the most dire situations.
