Welcome to Community Squad ending explained, where you will find out who actually is shot Diego. The Argentinian series, also known as División Palermo, is directed by Santiago Korovsky, known for his role in Porn and Ice Cream. The story follows a group of civilian guards and the dangerous trap they fall in to due to Felipe and Diego’s unexpected encounter with a drug dealer. The best part of the story is that all the guards chosen have a disability or are from a minority community.

The series consists of 8 minutes, each around 30 minutes. It is co-directed by Diego Nuñez Irigoyen, and written by Ignacio Gaggero, Santiago Korovsky, Martín Garabal, Martina López Robol, Florencia Percia, Ignacio Sánchez Mestre and Mariana Wainstein. The Netflix description of the series reads,

A RAGTAG CIVILIAN PATROL SQUAD CREATED TO IMPROVE THE IMAGE OF THE POLICE INADVERTENTLY PUT THEIR LIVES AT RISK WHEN CONFRONTING SOME STRANGE CRIMINALS.

The main cast of the series includes, Santiago Korovsky, Pilar Gamboa, Daniel Hendler, Martin Garabal, Marcelo Subiotto, Carlos Belloso, Charo López, Sergio Prina, Agustín Rittano, Valeria Lois, Rafael Spregelburd, Alan Sabbagh, Iair Said, Fabián Arenillas and Gabriela Izcovich alongside other cast members.

Community Squad Ending Explained

When Diego grabs hold a chicken doll on the day of the shooting, nobody checks what’s inside until one day, when Felipe throws it down. Felipe’s granny takes the drug tablets hidden inside the doll and reaches euphoria. Finally, Felipe figures out that the toy store has something to do with the drug dealer. Hence he asks assistance from his fellow guards and the cop. However, the chief police, Julio, doesn’t bother his theory.

Felipe and his teammates try their best to find clues but fail. One day they all receive the news that Deigo is back from a coma, so they visit them. However, Julio, takes Felipe away alone for a purpose. Diego is met by all the teammates, who happily talk to him. Diego, who struggles to speak, gestures about the main criminal to the team. After joking about it, the teammates finally figure out that the chief inspector, Julio, is the one who shot Diego.

On hearing this, the team panics because Felipe is with Julio. Before they can ask for more details, a doctor comes in to check Diego and asks everyone to go out. While the team leaves, one member goes back in and knocks the doctor out because she believes that he was trying to inject poison to Diego as he is the primary witness.

The entire team reaches the shop, but Felipe is already attacked there. One of the friendly cop comes to save him but gets shot. Thankfully he isn’t killed. Before Felipe can get into more trouble, his team arrive on time and kill all the bad guys. Julio somehow escapes the ruckus.

Once the shooting ends and everyone is saved, an award ceremony is conducted. The minister awards the police officers for finding the drug dealers, though the guard team actually found it. Past this we’re shown a scene where Julio is alive and is watching the award ceremony on the TV. Just then, he has some visitors who ask him for the money.

Julio explains that he will get the money soon, but the Korean guy and the Chinese lady shoot him dead. She then tells the guy they should go to Palermo (where the guards live) to retrieve the money. So it’s clear that the story isn’t over yet. In the final scenes, the guards happily enjoy their time, not knowing the upcoming peril.
