Eva Lasting, or La Primera Vez, is the latest Spanish teen drama that premiered on February 15, 2023, on Netflix. Directed by Maria Gamboa and Mateo Stivelberg, the story surrounds a group of adolescents whose lives change following the arrival of a young woman with different perspectives. Her revolutionary worldview helps broaden the school’s and students’ preconceived notions.
Starring Isa Garcia in the lead role as a young feminist, Eva Samper and Emmanuel Restrepo takes up the role of Camilo Granados, a timid teenager in love with Eva. The rest of the supporting and recurring cast includes Sergio Palau, Julián Cerati, Mateo García, Cecilia Navia, Verónica Orozco, Santiago Alarcón and more. Dago García has the writing credits, and Nicolás Forero Martínez is the cinematographer.

Eva Lasting Ending Explained
Eva kept her personal problems away from her friends, but not for long. Her father’s fraudulent activities became the headline in every newspaper, which ultimately fell into the hands of Camilo. Unintentionally due to his desperation, the entire school also found out about Eva’s troubles, and students began to display their hostility towards her.
However, bad fortune caught up to Eva and Camilo again. Since she was a minor, the government decided that she would be put under the care of her aunt, who resided in the United States. Camilo could not bear to lose Eva, and hence he ran away with her. They started to live in a cabin on the city’s outskirts.

Did the police catch Eva and Camilo?
One fine morning the detectives reached the location where the couple was hiding. However, they managed to run away from the police and returned to the city. They reach Rodgrigo’s house and ask for his help to hide Eva from the police, and he agrees. But not for too long, as Rodrigo’s mother fell sick, he could not keep her hidden anymore. Alvaro offers help, and he manages to keep her in his home for a day.
Camilo begs for Salcedo’s help, and he agrees on the condition that Camilo does his homework for six months. However, Salcedo’s mother finds out about the situation and informs the police. It is unclear if Salcedo caused the capture of Eva intentionally; his friends also suspected him.
Did Camilo go to the United States?
After giving it much thought, Camilo decides to travel to the USA to meet Eva and tries to convince his parents. During their heated conversation, someone calls Camilo to share a piece of important information. It was his ex-girlfriend Luisiana, and she shared that she was pregnant with Camilo’s child. His dream of pursuing Eva broke into pieces, and he kept her in his memory as the first woman he fell in love with.
