This song might be the start of a long story that NewJeans will be taking forward in their discography. From the mind-boggling storyline, the video definitely sent fans into a theory rabbit hole and also got us addicted to the catchy song. We also got a viral K-pop meme of this song, featuring Changbin of Stray Kids. There are various theories about the song but the one that makes the most sense is about the relationship between a fan and an idol.

Miley Cyrus – Flowers

If the Tik Tok community was looking for another song to use endlessly then this was it. Coming in like a wrecking ball, Miley Cyrus swooped everyone with this song. Whether it’s a viral marketing tactic or just rumours that said that it was made for her ex Liam Hemsworth and shot in the house where he allegedly cheated on her. Anyway, the most popular opinion is how the song is sampled from Bruno Mars’s When I was your Man.

Flowers is the lead single from Miley Cyrus’ highly-anticipated eighth studio Album Endless Summer Vacation. If the pre-release single is such a banger, we could only expect more from the album coming on 10 March 2023.

Måneskin – GOSSIP ft. Tom Morello

The song was released on 13 January 2023 as the fourth single from their third studio album Rush! It also features American guitarist Tom Morello. The music video definitely brings the pop-punk energy that was seen in the videos of the 90s, as said by one of the commenters on the video. In it, the band is on display as people come and judge them and likewise, the band sings about their hypocrisy.

Taeyang Feat BTS’ Jimin – Vibe

It is Taeyang’s first release in over five years since White Night and featuring BTS’ Jimin is just a cherry on top. From being such an ear candy, the video also features some smooth and dynamic choreography which is superbly pulled off by both artists. Also, in the video, the use of just lights to express the lyrics is interesting to watch. The song made its way to Billboard Hot 100 list as well.

Paramore – C’est Comme Ça

C’est Comme Ça is a French word which literally translates to that’s just the way it is. It is the first track from their next album titled ‘This Is Why’ which is set to be released on 10th February. The lyrics sing about how Hayley Williams tackles her reality and accepts that chaos is part of her life. Some might even find the lyrics somewhat relatable as we deal with our own lives.

Fall Out Boy – Love From The Other Side

Giving their music video a fairy tale look with stop-motion animation, making it as interesting to watch as it’s to listen to. Fans especially exclaimed how it made them feel nostalgic with the rawness that was heard in their earlier tracks. Also, the addition of ‘Emo Island’ in the video is quite symbolic as it feels like the band is owning up to the image of being the Emo community’s favourite.

It is the lead single of Fall Out Boy’s album So Much (For) Stardust, and also the first song the band has released in 3 years.

Metallica – Screaming Suicide

Through this song Screaming Suicide, the band want to address the taboo word of suicide. The intention is to communicate about the darkness we feel inside. It’s ridiculous to think we should deny that we have these thoughts. Everyone should be able to talk about it as it’s a human experience and only by sharing, and communicating – we will be able to help each other. The song is from the album 72 Seasons which will be available on April 14th, 2023.

SZA – Kill Bill

If you have heard the line – ‘I might kill my ex, not the best idea’ then this is the song that you have been looking for. While her song from the SNL skit (Big Boy) took over social media sites, this song is just as viral at the moment and the music video is no less than a work of art. Looks like this month many artists are out to take revenge on their exes. The song is from her new album SOS and draws inspiration from the movie of the same name.

Kim Petras – brrr 

It is a follow-up single to If Jesus Was A Rockstar, which is expected to be on her upcoming-anticipated album due to be released later this year. The throbbing beats layers with Kim Petras’s vocals will definitely get you in the mood. Also, the visuals of the lyric video is very similar to the cold imagery from her song Icy.

Monsta X – Beautiful Liar

If there’s a highly underrated K-pop group then Monsta X comes to mind. Full of various banging tracks in their discography, they came back as 5 member group, as their leader is serving in the military. Nonetheless, Beautiful Liar from their twelfth extended play Reason doesn’t fall short of any of their previous songs as a whole group. From strong visuals to killing choreography, the video is also to look out for.
