Monsta X has finally Released the Beautiful Liar MV teaser for their upcoming album, which is set to be released in a few days. It is the title track from their 12th mini album Reason, which will consist of 6 tracks in total. They are named – Beautiful Liar, Daydream, Crescendo (춤사위), Lone Ranger, Deny and 괜찮아 (It’s Okay).
Monsta X is a South Korean boy group which was formed through the reality survival program No Mercy and is signed under Starship Entertainment. The group is currently composed of six members: Shownu is the leader and currently enlisted in the military, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney and I.M, with former member Wonho having left the group in October 2019.
Earlier, the concept pictures for the upcoming album were released which showed off various versions of the group. The first version showed black-and-white images of the members donning all-black Outfits with fishnet and metallic accessories details. In the second version, they were seen in red outfits while playing with fire in the film.
In the third version, they mixed the previous two with some frozen ice props and a jewelled look. While in the fourth version, they donned white outfits and appeared to be a part of artwork which gives ethereal vibes. In the released teaser, we can see the outfits from the second version taking the center stage, as the members are wearing all red outfits with chain accessories.
The video gives us a quick close-up look at the members, who are seen standing among the hood-cladded crowd, which soon charges towards them. From the looks of it, we can expect a music video full of action and fire can be an added element. Talking about the album, Reason depicts the story of their ‘reason’ for building a presence through perfect teamwork. It contains the process of finding a clear reason for existence in various relationships and discovering the meaning of each other.
While the title track will be about the reason for love found in the most extreme and dangerous relationship. Members Hyungwon and I.M have taken part in writing the lyrics of the track, as well as for Lone Ranger and Deny. Also, Crescendo and It’s Okay have been composed by Joohoney.
