Incense is the upcoming 3rd Mini Album from Astro’s duo unit Moonbin and Sanha. After revealing their upcoming album at the start of this month, the duo is ready to come back next month and has dropped an individual highlight medley of their songs. It will be a six-track mini-album, with the title track Madness.

Moonbin and Sanha are among the youngest members of the group Astro which also includes MJ, Jinjin, Cha Eun-woo and Rocky. Their subunit first debuted in 2020 with the mini-album In-Out, with the title track Bad Idea. They made their first comeback in March 2022 with their mini-album Refuge, which included the singles Ghost Town and Who.

In the released sample, Moonbin and Sanha are seen sitting on the stairs in black and white attire, which shows off charismatic looks. From the lyrics, it looks like an English song so far, where they sing about protecting their lover.

Madness

This is the title track of the album and is co-written by Moonbin himself. The song has electronic pop beats, befitting the tag of a title track. The duo is seen sitting in a dark room, carrying on the same outfit but giving off a strong rock vibe.

이끌려 Carried Away (Moonbin Solo)

This solemn sentimental song only features Moonbin and is loosely translated to carried away. Here also Moonbin has been credited as a lyricist and co-composer for the B-side. The small snippet gives off the vibe of waiting for a lover to make up their mind and come running to them.

바람 Wind (Sanha Solo)

Carrying on the sentimental vibe with this ballad song, Sanha has also co-written and taken part in composing his solo B-side song. Similarly, he is seen sitting and waiting for his loved one to arrive, while he thinks about his feeling while holding a bouquet of flowers.

Chup Chup

Chup Chup sounds like a fun playful song, where the title could be inferred as the sound made when you eat something delicious and lick your fingers, afterwards. As we can see Moonbin sitting with doughnuts and coffee in front of him.

Your day

This is the last song of the mini-album and definitely sounds like an Astro song which could have some dynamic choreography. In the released snippet, Sanha is seen with a giant teddy bear, as she sings that it’s a shiny sunny day and it’s ‘your’ day, so he will make it a special happy day.

INCENSE, the 3rd unit Mini Album will be released on January 4 at 6 PM KST.
