It is the very first season of the new anime franchise and it is a fantasy, action, reincarnation and Isekai anime directed by Ishihira Shinji, who also worked with popular anime series like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, My Hero Academia, Fairy Tail, The Seven Deadly Sins, etc. The sound director is Hata Shouji, famous for composing music for One Punch Man, Fairy Tail, Vinland Saga, Spy x Family, etc. Episode 5 of Reincarnated as a Sword can also be called the 5th episode of Tensei shitara Ken Deshita or 転生したら剣でした.

The series follows the story of a human who gets reincarnated into a different fantastical world as a sword. The moment he wakes up from his eternal slumber, he realises that he cannot move. Then he slowly discovers that he is placed in a stone waiting for someone to wield him.

When some goblins try to take the sword for themselves, he quickly slashes them and learns he can absorb the stones inside them and power himself up simultaneously. With this knowledge, he goes around slaying demons left and right and gains immense powers which he wants his wielder to use.

On the other hand, we see Fran, a cat girl, being enslaved by some slave traders who also treat her harshly. She is an orphan and someone who has nowhere to go. But a chance encounter makes the sword and the girl come face to face and team up. 

They both end up giving names to each other. Fran decides the sword’s name will be Teacher because he is like a teacher to her, and Teacher asks her to keep the name that she long lost before becoming a slave.

They start their journey together to become one of the strongest anime duos ever, and along the way, they make new friends, as well. But their journey is not all fun and games as they encounter countless monsters especially, goblins, that threaten the peace of the world.

Reincarnated as a Sword Episode 5 Plot

In the last episode, we saw how Fran is going on a mission to kill all the goblins in a dungeon. She is not alone, as her entire guild is there to support her. Episode 5 is definitely going to be battle heavy, and we are expecting Fran and Teacher, to handle their enemies effortlessly. Fran might even get promoted for her bravery and actions by the guild master.

In the next episode, we will undoubtedly see Teacher and Fran facing off against some goblins and hobgoblins. We will also see Donadrond and Klimt as they will also assist in the upcoming battle. Other than that, we might see the goblin king and queen, but we are not sure of it as of yet.

The 4th episode of this anime showed us how strong the bond between Teacher and Fran is. We also saw Fran making some friends and allies. She got to join a guild and even got armour for herself. But we also saw her coming across a group of adventurers fighting goblins, and that battle will continue in the next episode.

We predict in the next episode, we will see an intense war between Fran and the goblins. Not just her, but her guild as well will come down to help her with this expedition, as it is a dungeon they will be fighting in. We might also see more creatures.
