Little Women (작은 아씨들) is a Korean mystery thriller drama that revolves around the predicament faced by three sisters. The story follows their journey after they find themselves in the midst of a major incident that changes their lives forever. Directed by Kim Hee-won and written by Jung Seo-kyung, the drama stars Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, Park Ji-hoo, Wi Ha-joon, alongside other cast members.
The 12 episodes show premiered on September 3, 2022, and releases new episodes every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM KST on tvN taking over the timeslot previously occupied by Alchemy of Souls. Little Women episode 7 has a run time of 74 minutes.
Netflix’s synopsis of the series reads:

Little Women episode 7 starts off with In-kyung finding In-joo next to their dead aunt who is blaming herself for this death because she believes it is because of her running after that money. Do-il arrives right then only to see In-jo fainting while In-kyung notices the blue orchid next to Hye-suk.
The scene then shifts to Hye-suk’s funeral which is attended by Sang-a who arrives with In-hye. In-ju asks her if the orchid had something to do with her aunt’s death because the flower made her restless at night and her memories after entering Hye-suk’s office with the flower have disappeared.
Sang-a tells her that the story of when she witnessed her mother’s death, Hye-suk had told her to lock that door and keep the room closed until she is able to accept those feelings. Until then she should just carry on with her life. Sang-a tells In-ju to do the same because she has been doing it till today and this is what Hye-suk would have told In-ju as well.

In-ju does not agree with her and is determined to know what happened, until then she is not ready to trust anyone including Sang-a. Later, Hye-suk’s will is read out in which she has named In-kyung her sole inheritor. But there’s an even bigger debt left behind and after looking at her relatives backing out from it, In-kyung takes it herself.
In-ju visits Do-il and asks him if he already knew about what was going to happen, but he lets her know that he is equally shocked as her. She asks for his help in finding out the culprit behind Hwa-young and Hye-suk’s murders and in return, he can take all the money. He tells her that there isn’t enough time before he leaves for Singapore to find the truth or evidence. He only tells her to be ready to leave with him.
Later In-ju consoles the saddened In-kyung. After this, the latter is given the keys and other belongings of Hye-suk among which she finds a suspicious-looking card. She doesn’t pay much attention to it and starts to remember her memories with her aunt when In-ju calls and tells her that Hye-suk’s murderer has turned himself in.
They don’t believe that he is the murderer or the reason that he has given when Jong-ho arrives and points at the blue orchid that is seen at the end of his confession video.
Elsewhere, Soo-im storms into Do-il’s office and asks him why he has been attacking her subordinates. Do-il tells her that if she continues to harm In-ju then his next target will be her, but Soo-im denies being involved in what happened. Hearing this, Do-il tells her to find out who was behind the incident or else he will not let her go unharmed.
Coming back to the Oh sisters, along with Jong-ho they start looking around Hye-suk’s office when they come across a secret room which can be opened only with the suspicious card left behind by Hye-suk. Upon opening the secret room they find an empty locker with another blue orchid inside which should have come from the murderer.
In-kyung is now determined to bring the Jeongran Society out in the open along with the crimes that have been committed with the blue orchid. This time In-ju joins her and reveals her plan to bring out the truth of the blue orchid, hand over the ledgers to In-kyung and bring down Jae-sang and leave with her sisters to a safe place with the money in Singapore.
On the other hand, Jae-sang wins the mayoral elections while In-ju, In-kyung and Jong-ho realise that his speech is similar to that of general Won Gi-seon’s which he had given during the Vietnam War. The scene then shifts to the hospital room where his speech is repeatedly played for the general. While going through the General’s video, In-kyung spots their aunt which arises questions for them.
Upon returning home, Jae-sang questions her about going to Hye-suk’s funeral while asking her to help him. He tells her that he has been doing this to become a man worthy of her but she refutes that he only married her because of her birth. He denies and professes his love for her, however, he steps back and tells him to stay away from her.

Jae-sang does not stop and even though she is clearly fearful of the man, she tells him that he reminds her of his father who was persistent and repulsive like him. This leads to them soon getting into a fight while Hyo-rin sneaks into In-hye’s bed who is startled by her.
She then hears the doors opening and looks outside the window only to see Sang-a trying to run away but being caught by Jae-sang and his bodyguard. Seeing her frightened friend, In-hye suggests going up the stairs that they couldn’t go the last time.
Elsewhere, In-ju and In-kyung are going through Hye-suk’s stuff to find out more about the Jeongran Society when they find out more about their aunt. Hye-suk was a nurse in the American army and the 12 people of the society were in different units but met in the hospital. This is known by them when In-ju finds a picture of them in the hospital.
On the other hand, In-hye and Hyo-rin are going through the things that they have found in the attic. While Hyo-rin checks out the doll house, In-hye finds an old album consisting of Sang-a’s childhood pictures. However, a person from this album has been cut out in all the pictures. They also find a room’s model which looks exactly like Hwa-young’s murder scene.
With a closet full of clothes and a woman hanging inside with red heels, the name of the model made by Sang-a is “Closed Room”.
Again, In-ju, In-kyung and Jong-ho are trying to put together what they have found out about the Jeongran Society when they notice that one of the members has been missing while others are either dead or in a coma. The missing person, Choi Hee-jae is none other than Choi Do-il’s father.
The next day, Jae-sang tells the girls that Sang-a is sick and should be left alone to recover. On the other hand, In-ju and In-kyung go to meet Do-il’s mother to find out about the missing Choi Hee-jae and the Jeongran Society. While In-kyung points out her suspicion revolving around the crime that she is serving punishment for, In-ju has other things to say.
In-ju tells her that if she doesn’t let them know about these things then Do-il and her life will be in danger because they are the ones handling the ledger at the moment. This scares the woman who asks her to pass on a message to Do-il that will give him the evidence that is required.
Elsewhere, Jae-sang is informed about their visit to Do-il’s mother and now wants to get rid of In-ju and also have someone tail Do-il which makes Soo-im gloat. Later, In-ju meets up with Do-il and tells him of her meeting up with his mother and the message she has sent for him. Do-il is shocked by this and tells her that their deal is off and they won’t be working together anymore.

She stops him and tells him about the information her aunt had shared regarding Jae-sang’s father which shows his involvement in the crime that was supposedly committed by Do-il’s mother. She then tells him of her plan to reveal the Jeongran Society and Jae-sang while passing on the note to him.
He does not understand her need for revenge but gives her a USB drive with the necessary information while letting her know that her life is going to be in danger from now on. She lets him know that she trusts him at this point and will be ready for whatever is to come.
The next day, Do-il makes his way to the place his mother pointed to and soon finds a hut in the middle of the woods. The person living there is none other than Choi Hee-jae who takes him inside, while In-kyung and Jong-ho look from afar.
On the other hand, In-hye and Hyo-rin are once again in the attic and wondering about the model made by Sang-a. The next day, In-hye picks up a note thrown by Sang-a and sends a picture of it to In-ju because it was addressed to her. The letter is a call for help as she is locked inside the house.
Sang-a tells In-ju to wait for her in Singapore until she makes her way there with the girls. She wants to escape and will need her help in this. Later, In-hye is taken to a building that is soon to demolish by Jae-sang.
He tells her that for something new to begin, the old must be destroyed and just like that, for her to be a part of his family she will have to let go of the past. He warns her that some distressing times are soon to arrive and he will be watching how strong she is.
Little Women Episode 7 Ending
Little Women episode 7 ends with In-kyung entering Choi Hee-jae’s house with Jong-ho and while she is getting banged after having been bitten by a dog, the latter roams around the house wearing glasses with an inbuilt camera. However, when she reveals her identity to Choi Hee-jae, he kicks them out of the house.
In-ju, on the other hand, sneaks into In-hye school and tells her about leaving for Singapore. She tells her to not ask any questions and just do as she says. In-hye then reminds her that it is her birthday and gives her the card with the dashcam footage as a gift.
Back in the woods, people sent by Jae-sang sneak into Choi Hee-jae’s house to kill him but end up getting bombed instead. This is because Do-il shared the location of his father in order to gain Jae-sang’s trust. But this was not enough for him and he wants Do-il to deal with In-ju.

After leaving there, In-ju buys herself a pale pink skirt and goes to the restaurant where she shared a meal with Hwa-young. Do-il too meets up with her after having hidden the hammer that is the murder weapon related to his mother’s crime.
Having met up with In-ju, he reveals to her that Hwa-young may not actually be dead because an Oh In-ju is said to attend the Orchid Festival. Upon looking at the picture she realises that it must be Hwa-young because the woman has the same tattoo on her ankle.
He tells her that this woman is going around Singapore with her name and is capable of taking all the money that is under In-ju’s name. This leaves her shocked by what is happening and is ready to go to Singapore to find out the truth.
Little Women Episode 7 Review
This was a long recap because of the many events that happened in the episode. From the Oh sister digging out the secrets of their aunt and the Jeongran Society to In-hye and Hyo-rin digging up on Sang-a.
One thing that we know from this episode is that Jae-sang is a lot more dangerous than he seems and there is a possibility that Sang-a must definitely be a victim of his plans. While she is no less evil, she is in a mess because of him.
Where else, Do-il is one pitiful guy whose childhood was left in chaos after his parents are attacked by the Jeongran Society one after the other. While is laughing at In-ju for trying to get her revenge, what is he really after?
And once again we are left shocked by Hwa-young who is really playing the characters in the show like a puppet master. She is one of the characters that I look forward to seeing more of in the upcoming episode.
Finally, I hope that these three sisters just sit together and talk because their answers will appear right in front of them if they just come together and talk.
Altogether, Little Women has once again given an amazing episode that we should not miss out on!
