Eve or Eve’s Scandal (이브의 스캔들) is a 2022 South Korean Romantic Melodrama written by Yoon Young-mi and directed by Park Bong-sub. The drama stars Seo Yea-ji, Park Byung-eun, Lee Sang-yeob and Yoo Sun in leading roles. The series will run for 16 episodes. Eve Episode 12 has a runtime of 61 minutes.

In Eve Episode 12, Kang Yoon-gyeom calls Jang Moon-hee to meet him when he proposed to Ra-el for marriage. Ra-el collapses after she answers positively to his proposal. After she regains consciousness, Kang leaves them alone to talk. Moon Hee can see that Ra-el has been falling in love with Kang but she cannot see her getting hurt. She held a grudge against Ra-el for straying away from the plan but now, understands that it is unbearable for Ra-el herself.

Kang and Ra-el have been living in his villa away from Seoul and So-ra’s secretary has found them. So-ra orders him to bring Ra-el alive to her- alive or dead. Moon Hee had talked to Seo Eun-pyeong about Ra-el and has requested him to talk with her. She is okay if Ra-el chooses Kang but she shouldn’t come back to Seoul to see her because she is still going to go against Kang. Eun-pyeong visits Ra-el and conveys her the message but still suggests she breaks up with Kang because he can’t see her in pain.

Right after Eun-pyeong leaves, So-ra’s secretary attacks Ra-el and tries to kidnap her but Eun-pyeong comes and while trying to save Ra-el, gets hurt himself. The secretary recognizes Eun-pyeong and runs away scared. Ra-el is enraged and tells Kang that she doesn’t want to stay hidden anymore. She becomes the head of the future planning and strategy team of LY Group. She makes an appearance on National TV but no one knows that she is Kang’s mistress. Han Pan-ro is losing his mind and countersues Kang for the divorce lawsuit.

So-ra didn’t agree to the lawsuit but after her father still files it, Ra-el drags So-ra out of Kang’s house and makes it a home for her and her daughter. She has reached extremely close to an important step in her plan- Kang’s secret vault. She suggests she stay home to make their daughters feel comfortable and makes Kang go to the office alone. She makes the daughters play Hide-n-seek and tricks Da Bi into opening her father’s vault. Ra-el enters the vault and finds the ledger about Gediks Semiconductors but to her shock, Kang comes back and sees her inside the vault. Da Bi apologizes to her father but Kang might be suspicious of Ra-el.

Eve Episode 12 Ending

So-ra had asked her secretary to find out the relationship between Eun-pyeong and Ra-el and he comes back with shocking information. So-ra finds out that Jang Moon-hee and Ra-el have a fake relationship and she kidnaps Moon-hee for further information. So-ra eventually finds out the real identity of Ra-el. She knew Ra-el as Kim Sun-bin but now finds out her real name and also her real identity. She finds out Kang’s schedule and meets both him and Ra-el and threatens her in front of Kang to reveal her real identity. She shows Kang the old high school pictures of Ra-el where her real name is mentioned and Kang looks shocked by the revelation.

Eve Episode 12 Review

Eve Episode 12 is nothing less of soap opera. A man, his wife and his mistress are in a toxic relationship but the man is more understanding than both of them. The two women in love with the same man can go to any lengths to keep the man to herself. Ra-el has the power to make big business deals in a day or two but leaves her identity out in the open, for anyone to find it out easily.
