Candy

For all the true-crime junkies out there, Candy turned out to be one helluva ride. Starring Jessica Biel in the titular role and telling the story of the axe-murderer, Candy Montgomery, the show was engaging, interesting and loaded with good acting performances. Read our review for the show, here.

Under the Banner of Heaven

All the Andrew Garfield fans, this miniseries is just what you need to fall in love with the actor all over again. From dark curtains of the fundamentalist Mormon culture to the crisis and trauma one faces in religion, the show is based on a true event and is bone-chilling in every sense. The Dropout

The story of the infamous Elizabeth Holmes and her company Theranos unfolds in this 8-part true-crime series. It stars Amanda Seyfried in one of the most incredible performances.

Pam & Tommy

The rise and fall of the love story of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee and the infamous sex tape of the duo that shook the entire nation, Pam & Tommy is a heartfelt story of a love gone wrong and a time that lost itself. Starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan, read the review for the series, here.

HBO Max

The Staircase

The trial of Michael Peterson for killing his wife Katheleen Peterson and the nuances that ridged on the edges of the various relationships involved in the case, The Staircase is truly one of the best miniseries of 2022 and is a must-watch for all. Read our review for the same, here.

The Flight Attendant Season 2

The second season of The Flight Attendant really grilled us with our patience by giving a doppelganger angle to Cassie’s story. Although the plot wasn’t as convincing and strong as the first season, it is due to Kaley Cuoco’s sheer brilliant performance that this title has made it to the list. Read our review for the show, here.

Tokyo Vice

A crime drama based on the 2009 book of the same name by Jake Adelstein, the series explores the dark and dangerous world of the Japanese yakuza, with the help of the two main protagonists- Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe. You can watch the show now on HBO Max as well as Amazon Prime Video.

Peacemaker

We can quit the battle of DC Vs Marvel here and pick John Cena, in general, right? Well, if you don’t agree then Peacemaker is just the 2022 release that will convince you to! Essentially working as the origin story of the titular character, the show is filled with laughter and thrill all throughout.

Euphoria Season 2

A Rue-llercoster of feelings and meeting the same, beautifully tragic characters by Sam Levinson, Euphoria’s second season was a different take on the teen-adult drama. It stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Damie and other phenomenal actors. Read all about it, here. Watch the show now on HBO Max as well as Disney+ Hotstar.
