Indian films are incomplete without music. When it comes to Hindi movies, the songs convey a lot of emotions and are a crucial part of the storytelling. The first half of 2022 had several films released in theatres and the digital platform. Some were good, and some were bad. Some gave us the best Hindi Songs of 2022 we can’t get enough of.
Not every movie worked in theatres. Similarly, not every music album was great. It has been a long time since we enjoyed a fantastic Hindi album with exceptional songs. But we have picked up a few tracks that were much better than the others.

Gehraiyaan Reprise
When the Gehraiyaan teaser starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa was released, people couldn’t get enough of the title song crooned by Lothika Jha. The song is composed by OAFF and Savera, and Ankur Tewari has written the lyrics. When the makers released the album, the reprise version of the same song caught everyone’s attention.
Mohit Chauhan’s voice in the Gehraiyaan reprise takes you into deep thoughts, and you want to stay there. The best way to appreciate the song is to keep listening to it on loop.
Atak Gaya
Badhaai Do is one of the best movies of 2022 and has good songs. However, the song that made us fall in love instantly is Atak Gaya. Amit Trivedi composed the track with lyrics penned by Varun Grover. The song aptly describes the feeling of falling for someone. Arijit Singh’s soothing voice feels like a warm, tight hug.

Meri Jaan
Gangubai Kathiawadi is one of the best films by Alia Bhatt. The story was powerful, and the music was fantastic. Meri Jaan, composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, had a retro feel. The picturisation is profound, and the impact wouldn’t have been deeper without Neeti Mohan’s beautiful voice. She brings a good tease, lust and emotions to the track.
Maiyya Mainu
Jersey’s Maiyya Mainu is a fact-paced romantic song that immediately gets your attention. The love song has a peppy tone to it. Sachet Tandon has sung the track composed by him along with Parampara. Shellee has penned the lyrics.
Nacho Nacho
The song from SS Rajamouli’s RRR is a Hindi version of Naatu Naatu. It’s a fun dance number that will make anybody and everybody groove. Nacho Nacho is composed by MM Kreem with lyrics by Riya Mukherjee. Vishal Mishra and Rahul Sipligunj have sung the fantastic song. The video featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR is a treat for the eyes.

Mere Dholna
Shreya Ghoshal’s Mere Dholna from Bhool Bhulaiyaa is one of the best Hindi songs that give you chills. But in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Pritam decided to add a male version. A song like this requires a skilful singer, and who better than Arijit Singh could’ve done justice to it? Arijit’s Mere Dholna is 6 minutes long and takes you in trance mode. The National-award winner has outdone himself yet again!
