Actor-director Taika Waititi has been trending all over Twitter and, this time around it isn’t for his pretty acclaimed work but, his adorable response to a classic that we all love. The New Zealand filmmaker is working on quite a few projects as of now. There’s Next Goal Wins, a feature film which is to be released by Searchlight Pictures where Waititi severs as the director, writer and producer. Along with that, we have Waititi serving as the director and writer for Marvel’s upcoming film, Thor Love and Thunder, which is presently in pre-production.

Recently, a video of Taika Waititi has surfaced where the filmmaker is seen making a flight journey as he watches one out of the three The Lord of the Rings movies. We see Waititi make an adorable face and, a half heart with one hand in the air when the segment of Sam and Frodo at the end of the three movies comes to the screen. The video clearly indicates the love he has for the characters and, how difficult it was to bid goodbye to them no matter how many times you have watched the movies.

However, as soon as the video surfaced on the internet, viewers couldn’t help but, express their thoughts on it. Most of the Twitter users have gone on to state that this video is a confirmation from Waititi that Sam and Frodo are in love. One of the users wrote: “i’m still not here but i feel like it’s my duty to address taika shipping sam and frodo cuz like yea”.
