Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is out in the theatres now and, fans are truly shocked and excited by how the film has turned out to be. The film is directed by Sam Raimi and written by Michael Waldron. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the titular role, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. The premise of the film according to the trailer indicates that we are going to see Strange travel into the multiverse with his allies to face a new threat like never before.

With the latest release in the theatres and, getting nominated for an Academy this year, it was finally Benedict Cumberbatch’s turn to host Saturday Night Live. Being the actor’s second time hosting the live sketch comedy show, he did not seem to hold back when it came to cracking jokes and being cheeky with his monologue. The actor started off his monologue by stating how the team of SNL has been pitching him sketches all concerning Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is fine by the Marvel star but, he remarks having starred in other movies including The Power of the Dog, that got him an Oscar nomination.

But, he was soon enough told by the team that no one had watched the film because he was beaten by Will Smith. As the laughter roared from the audience section, Cumberbatch clarified, “No, not physically. No Physically”.
