Playing a man with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) who finds success in the field of physics but, has a rocky marriage, Eddie Redymane does it all and more as he offers us one of his most unforgettable roles.
Newt Scamander in the Fantastic Beasts film series
Standing out amidst an ensemble cast is truly a difficult task, irrespective of playing the protagonist in the story. Yet Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander in the Fantastic Beasts film series, which serves as the prequel to J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter stories, is an adorable, brave and endearing character. Directed by David Yates, the film franchise has so far two films on the list: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018). A third instalment of the film Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is set to release in April 2022.
