The Movies That Made Us Season 2 brings back the much-awaited series on Netflix, again, with 4 timeless classics to discuss and closely follow namely Back to the Future, Pretty Woman, Jurassic Park, and Forrest Gump. We have already dived deep into the making and minds behind movies such as Dirty Dancing, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Elf, Home Alone, Die Hard, and Ghostbusters with The Movies That Made Us Season 1 and The Holiday Movies That Made Us. It’s fun and undeniably engaging.

The first episode is about the 1985 film Back to the Future directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by Zemeckis and Bob Gale. An all-time favourite Dinosaur world i.e., Jurassic Park. Created by Michael Crichton, the film is a milestone in the world of animation and filmmaking and is still considered one of the greatest films of the 1990s. The episode is engrossing as it tells the smallest of details and the biggest of struggles that the cast and crew had to face in bringing this classic to the screen that remains a timeless household name and a film for people across age groups!

The fourth and final episode of the series takes us deeper into the world of Forrest Gump, directed by Robert Zemeckis. A timeless classic that affects people across the world with things to remember and feel. It’s iconic. But what if I told you that Forrest Gump was turned into a forgotten script, left in a box? What a shame it would have been. Said to be culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant, the making of Forrest Gump came with its own set of troubles, troubles big enough to shut down the entire project but it was the team that won.
