Rick and Morty has consistently been one of the best adult cartoons in existence. With 5 seasons and 49 Episodes of content, there is enough content to warrant a full re-watch of the series. If you’re looking to move on to a different animated series, though, there are some pretty good cartoons like Rick and Morty worth watching.

Each of these cartoons offers something outlandish, crass, or delightfully truthful that will fill your spirit with joy. Make sure to watch them all.

Final Space

Creator: Olan Rogers
Total Episodes: 36
IMDb Rating: 8.3

This animated space opera comedy is an excellent option for adults who enjoy certain levels of ridiculousness. The series follows a seemingly annoying space prisoner named Gary Goodspeed as he tries to save the planet. With excellent characters, dialogue, and just the right amount of violence, Final Space is a good adult cartoon.

What makes Final Space so similar to Rick and Morty is how ridiculous the main character and dialogue are while also feeling like commentary on the human condition. The main character makes his way through difficult situations with the power of friendship and comedic timing.

With 3 seasons available on HBO Max, it’s worth diving into.

When Pendleton Ward first started to move away from Adventure Time, he began to create an independent series called Bravest Warriors. The story follows a group of space warriors who are forced to take up the mantle of heroes after their parents mysteriously disappear into another dimension.

With 4 seasons, there is seemingly a lot of content, but many of the episodes at the start of the show are very short. While it doesn’t have the same brash humor as Rick and Morty, it has a similar levity about some pretty dark concepts that you’ll likely enjoy.
