Our favorite comedy actor has signed up to a brand new movie role and we couldn’t be more excited. Andy Samberg has become a household name, with Brooklyn Nine-Nine remaining a fan favorite. The series is currently shooting its eighth season, with new episodes coming this year. But recently, he has appeared in a number of films, and people just can’t get enough.

Andy Samberg is reuniting with Andy Siara on the new project. With the success of Hulu’s Palm Springs, it makes sense for the duo to return to another film. The time loop comedy writer has created another script which has been described as a ‘sci-fi comedy-drama’. Yes all of them things in one movie. Samberg will appear alongside Ben Stiller, as The Hollywood Reporter has suggested that the project will be featured on Apple’s streaming service.

Could the new project be just as popular as Palm Springs?

Andy Samberg will be starring and producing the new project. There is little detail surrounding the plot of the movie. But it seems to have gained a lot of attention. The Apple Original Film will join the likes of Greyhound and On The Rocks, with hopes that the comedy-drama will gain rave reviews, similar to previous project Palm Springs. The idea for the movie has come from BoJack Horseman creator. Take from that what you wish.

Palm Springs became one of the most popular movies of 2020. Starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti, two wedding guests who end up trapped in a time loop. The film received a 100% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes. An incredible indicator for how much the movie was adored by fans. The Hulu smash is yet to come to markets outside of the US. Amazon Prime is set to drop the film in Europe. This means the movie could start to see more love thrown it’s way!
