Mahadevan even worked in a software giant, Oracle when he graduated with a Computer science Engineer degree but he clearly knew that his interest lies with music thus he gave up his job and started working seriously towards his music career. Shankar's interest in music made him venture into the field of music he especially worked towards classical music which he found really interesting.
