Davelynn DeFries Shimabukuro releases “Christmas Without You” & “Hawaiian Girl”

Exactly 60 years ago, Patsy was excited to record her first Signature Christmas Song. But her record label changed it to a love song that didn’t chart well. Indie artist Luanne Hunt discovered this “lost song” and recorded it more than 10 years ago. The song, “Christmas Without You” is now released by this local “Hawaiian Girl” paying tribute to a “Timeless Artist” that should never be forgotten.

This “Hawaiian Girl” from Anahola, Kaua’i is also a songwriter featuring her song based on a true story. “I’m Sorry I’m Leavin”, is an original song about a woman who could not give her husband what he wanted…a child. She decided to let him go to fulfill his wish, and she tragically died shortly thereafter. A song about Love, Heartbreak and Ultimate Sacrifice.
