New York based Hip Hop artist J.I. is gearing up to release his latest Album. The project is a part of what is now a three part series called Hood Life Krisis. The album is to be released on December 18, 2020. It brings to light J.I.’s concept of escaping what he defines as the ‘Hood Life’.
J.I. is building this project with the intention of showing the world that he is more than just a rapper. HLK showcases his beautiful lyrical ability as both a singer and a rapper. His song “Letter 2 U” is also an amazing example of his skill as a vocalist.
“Letter 2 U” is a smooth and vibrant song that is relatable to so many. The track talks about love and confusion in a way that is relevant to a huge audience. “Letter 2 U” along with his many other amazing tracks by J.I. are well worth checking out.
J.I. is extremely excited about his upcoming album. He feels that Vol. 2 of the project strayed from his roots and he is excited for his fans to hear him get back that original sound. J.I. also suggests that the best way to gear up for Vol. 3 is to get into the vibe with Volumes 1 and 2, all of which have amazing tracks.
