Dee2Real first emerged in the music industry in 2018 under the name Yours Truly Dee. After releasing his first and only project under the name he took a break from music. Then came back with a new name Dee2Real. On July 19, 2019 he released the 2Real Ep which help him gain a small buzz. With standout tracks Intro featuring Tray Kash and Solo. Doing this time he also wrote records for other artists. And gained respect from some of the veterans in the rap game for his penmanship.
