For the first time in Rayagada, a State Level Badminton Tournament was organised by the Odisha State Badminton Association (Affiliated with the Badminton Association of India) and hosted by the Rayagada Badminton Association.
Interested players can register for a state ID and enter the tournament online at www.osbaodisha.org.
The entry fee is Rs 700 for singles and Rs 1400 for doubles and mixed doubles.
Players from all over Odisha are welcome to participate. The deadline to enter the state level badminton tournament is April 17, 2021.
Prize Money: Rs. 23,000.00/- for U-13 Years & Rs. 31,000.00/- for U-15 Years.
Events: Sub Junior (U 13 Yrs): Boy’s Singles, Girl’s Singles, Boy’s Doubles, Girl’s Doubles & Mixed Doubles
Sub Junior (U-15 Yrs): Boy’s Singles, Girl’s Singles, Boy’s Doubles, Girl’s Doubles & Mixed Doubles
Mode Of Competion: All matches shall be played on best of three games of 21 points In rally points system. However, man if need be the referee in consultation with the Organising Committee and OSRA Observers, conduct qualifying matches in best of three games of 15 points each with extension up to 21 points.
Note:
1. Players having updated registered State ID can only Participate in all OSBA events.
2. The Tournaments / Championships shall be conducted as per Govt.of India / State Govt, Covid-19 regulations.
3. The Tournaments / Championship may be canceled or postponed depending on Govt, order on Covid-19 situation.
4. All Players, Coaches, Officials, Support Staffs, Organisers & Parents should follow the Covid-19 regulations for smooth conduct of the Tournament / Championship.
5. Guidelines as per the OSBA Tournament Circular governs all aspect of the Tournament / Championship.
6. Tournament venue can change in case of any unavoidable circumstances with prior notice.
7. Tournament / Championship shall be conducted as per BAI guidelines.
