Satish Kaushik was born on 13 April 1956. He is a popular Indian actor, producer, director, and screenwriter. Satish primarily works in Hindi films, TV shows, and web series. As a film actor, Satish is best known for his character as Calender in Mr. India and as Pappu Pager in the Deewana Mastana movie. For his acting in the Ram Lakhan (1990), and Sajan Chale Sasural (1997) movie, he won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award twice. As a theatre artist, Satish is recognized for his role in the Hindi-language play, Salesman Ramlal, an adaptation of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.

Satish Kaushik was born in Mahendragarh, Haryana, India. In 1985, he married Shashi Kaushik. His son Shanu Kaushik died when he was just 2 years old. In 2012, Satish’s daughter Vanshika was born through a surrogate mother.

• Satish was a part of the Chandigarh Film City project in alliance with Parsavnath Developers. But they had to leave the venture when it was exposed by the media. However, Satish got a clean chit in the case.

• Satish spends his childhood in Naiwala, Delhi. Later, his family moved to Pune and after completing graduation, he took admitted to the Film & Television Institute of India. 
• He is a popular face in the Hindi film industry. However, he is still doing theatres play.
