عورت سحری میں سب سے پہلے جاگتی ہے

اور سب گھر والوں کے لیئے سحری تیار کرتی ہے

لیکن خود سب سے آخر میں کھاتی ہے

روزہ رکھنے کے بعد دوپہر میں بچوں کو کھانا کھلاتی ہے

پھر چار بجے کے بعد سے افطاری تک

اپنے خاندان والوں کے لیے

افطاری تیار کرنے میں لگ جاتی ہے

اور ساتھ ہی یہ ڈر بھی لگا رہتا ہے

کہ پتہ نہیں کھانا کیسا پکا ہوگا

ساس اور سسر کے لیے الگ الگ پکاتی ہے

اور کبھی کبھی تو افطاری سے پہلے

شوہر کے غصے کو صبر سے جھیلنا پڑتا ہے

اور اذان سے پہلے دسترخوان لگانا

تعریف تو دُور کی بات، دو دو روٹیاں کھانے کے بعد

ایک ٹھنڈا گلاس لسی مانگنا اور پھر کہنا

کہ نمک کم ہے اور خاص ٹھنڈا نہیں ہے

اور افطاری پوری کی پوری کر لی جناب نے

وہ بیچاری چپکے سے کمرے میں افطاری کرلیتی ہے

تراویح کے بعد پھر سے حضرت کے لیے

چائے اور میوہ تیار کرتی ہے

اور پھر سے سحری میں سب سے پہلے جاگتی ہے

اگر خدا نخواستہ وہ نہ جاگی اورسحری لیٹ ہوئی

تو سب خاندان کا نزلہ بیچاری پہ گِرتا ہے سارا دن

آخر میں دوستو! آپ سے درخواست ہے یہ

کہ گھر کی ساری عورتیں

خواہ وہ ماں ہو، بیوی ہو، بیٹی ہو، بہن ہو، یا کوئی اور

لازمی ان کا خیال رکھنا

آخر وہ بھی ہماری طرح انسان ہے

Women's Role in Sheri and Iftar Ramadan

The woman wakes up first at Sehri time

And she prepares Sehri for all the family members

But she eats at the end of it all

After fasting, she feeds the children in the afternoon

Then from 4 o'clock till Iftar

For her family

She is busy preparing Iftar

And at the same time it is scary

I don't know how the food will be cooked

Cooks separately for mother-in-law and father-in-law

And sometimes before Iftar

Husband's anger has to be endured patiently

And setting the table before Azan

Instead of praising, after eating two chapatti

Ask for a cold glass of Lassi and then say

That salt is low and not particularly cold

And he completed the Iftar

She secretly breaks her fast in the room

For husband again after Taraweeh

Makes tea and fruit

And again she wakes up first at next Sehri

If she did not wake up and went to bed at dawn

So the whole family is angry all day long

Finally friends! This is my request

That all the women of the house

Be it mother, wife, daughter, sister, or anyone else

Must take care of them

They are also human beings just like us
