With well over 100 million examples sold in its lifetime, the Honda Super Cub is the world’s most popular motorcycle, even if its Grom pocketbike stablemate gets more love in the U.S.

Still, Thailand’s K-Speed has found a way to make the common scooter stand out in truly Menacing style.

Available in black- or whiteout paint coats, Bike EXIF points to the retro, Art Deco-style fenders as an especially pronounced feature—K-Speed’s founder had reportedly had the idea for a couple of years before creating the mold. The solid color-matched rims wrapped in widened 17-inch sawtooth tires also catch the eye.

Custom rear wheel covers and ribbed side covers help fill out the typically slender Super Cub, while an intentional lack of branding—only “K-Speed Cub” and “Super Cub” are found on the front fender and beneath the seat—allow its figure to be seen unimpeded.

K-Speed is primarily a parts manufacturer that has a comprehensive list of off-the-shelf components ready for the Super Cub. For the K-Speed Cub, the company sourced parts its “Diablo” range, including the relocated headlight’s housing, speedometer bracket and exhaust pipe.

Bike EXIF also reports that the suspension has been lowered and the swingarm extended, but the 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke hasn’t been modified.
