Some Pranayamas to stay Healthy

अनुलोम विलोम प्राणायाम 
This pranayama is the practice of alternate nostril breathing. Through this pranayama you will be fit, it will help to keep diseases away from you, it will recover your breathing problems and it is a good exercise for meditation.  



How to do:
  1. First sit on your mat in padmasana.
  2. Join your Thumb and index Finger of your left hand and put your hand on your left leg as shown in the picture.
  3. Put index finger and middle finger on your forehead.
  4. After that put your thumb on your nose.  
  5. Make your back straight.
  6. Now, press one side of your nose by the thumb and take  a deep breathe from second side of your nose.
  7. Then press your another side of your nose and release air from the first side of your nose.
  8. Now, take breathe from the first side of your nose and release from another side.
  9. Repeat this process for sometime.

कपालभाति प्राणायाम  
Kapalabhati purifies the frontal air sinuses helps to overcome cough disorders.It is useful in treating cold, asthma and some infections. It keeps the face young and vibrant. It balances and strengthens the nervous system and tones up the digestive system.

How to do:
  1. Sit on your mat in padmasana. 
  2. Join your index finger and thumb of both the hands.
  3. Make your back straight and close your eyes.
  4. Now, take a deep breathe.
  5. Then Exhale the air by giving a jerk to your stomach.
  6. Try to exhale the whole air in 20-25 times and while exhaling do not inhale. just exhale by jerk till the air gets out.

भ्रामरी प्राणायाम
The Bhramari pranayama helps increase your concentration and focus. It also aids your thyroid glands and helps you with issues like migraine and headache and reduces stress at the same time. 


How to do:
  1. Sit on your mat in padmasana.
  2. Now, take your index fingers and press your cartilage of both the years.
  3. Then take a deep breathe and close your eyes slowly.
  4. Now, exhale air slowly [humming] by saying [Om].
