Revolutionizing Computing: An In-Depth Look at BLOCX.’s Vision and Recent Innovations

The interview with Garry Hopper sheds light on the recent updates and future vision of Blocx., a comprehensive computing platform aiming to integrate web2 and web3 tools into a single suite for users’ convenience. BLOCX. has recently released Desktop V1.2, featuring various enhancements such as a Malware Section, Device Health, Password Vault, Remote Access, and an AI Section with a Crypto-related ChatBOT and Non-Custodial Crypto Wallet, with further plans for a VPN and decentralized messenger called B.TXT. This strategic integration of tools aims to simplify users’ computing and crypto experiences by offering an all-in-one solution. With a commitment to security and privacy, BLOCX. ensures user empowerment and decentralization through direct wallet connections, eschewing data collection, and storing information solely on users’ devices, thus fostering a secure and user-centric ecosystem.

1. Could you provide an overview of BLOCX.’s recent updates and its vision for the future?

We have recently had a lot going on for BLOCX. But first of all, I would like to quickly explain what BLOCX is about. BLOCX is about delivering everything to you at your convenience. Imagine all web3 and web2 tools under one suite. This is what BLOCX is about: your all-in-one computer manager, and in later phases, on the phone as well.

Recent updates include the release of BLOCX Desktop V1.2, which features a Malware Section with Quick, Full, and Custom Scan options, Device Health Section, System Optimizer, Password Vault, Remote Access, an AI Section with a Crypto-related ChatBOT and a Non-Custodial Crypto Wallet. All these will be released on the coming Sunday, March 31st. After this release, our Desktop Team will begin working on a VPN.

In addition, our second team is working on B.TXT, a decentralized messenger powered by masternodes serving as its servers. The very initial version is expected to be released in about 2 weeks from now.

Our third team is focusing on the Distributed Computing Marketplace, or as we like to call it, BLOCX Marketplace. The estimated release date for the MVP is around 2-2.5 months and will include access to regular computing power and machine learning capabilities, with a Rendering template to be added later.

Overall, there is a lot going on, and to learn more about it, we strongly suggest following our social media channels and checking our roadmap.

2. What inspired the creation of BLOCX. and the integration of web2 and web3 tools into a single platform?

Mainly, the purpose was due to the lack of comprehensive tools within a single software suite. Everyone understands that virus protection is essential for computers, and many virus protection software packages include features such as a Password Vault, VPN, and Safe Browser. But now, imagine having it all in one place: Remote Access, Afterburner, AI, Cloud Services, and on top of that, crypto-related tools like Wallet, Swap, and a Distributed Computing Marketplace. Isn’t that all you actually need? Why hassle with all the different software if you know you can get it all from one source, with all the convenience? Manage your everyday computing and crypto experience from just one software suite.

3. How does BLOCX. differentiate itself from other digital computing platforms currently available in the industry?

As mentioned above, the biggest difference is that we are a true all-in-one suite, offering not only web2 or web3, but everything in between. No other software company is offering such comprehensive services. While there are some limitations, such as those found in antivirus software, we transcend those boundaries. We are tapping into a completely untouched market, and what’s best is that we are designed for everyday use. This means we have immense utility that ensures year-round usage.

4. What are the key features introduced in the latest release of BLOCX. Desktop V1.0, and how do they enhance the user experience?

Our BLOCX Desktop V1.0 was merely released as an MVP for users to get a taste of what is to come. In terms of enhancements, there is still much to do, such as UI changes and updating functionalities. However, all the main and important features are already included. V1.0 included a Malware Section, Device Health, Password Vault, and Non-Custodial Crypto Wallet.

5. Can you elaborate on the upcoming BLOCX. Desktop V1.2 release and how it aims to elevate the platform’s capabilities?

Yes, absolutely. The biggest update in V1.2 is Remote Access, allowing people to access their other devices with ease. Another great addition is the AI section, where initially, a Crypto-related ChatBOT will be added in collaboration with PAALAI. However, this is just one part of the AI section, many more features will be added in later phases, such as Scam Detectors, Website Scanners, and Contract Sniffers. Additionally, our UI will once again be polished, and it will continue to advance over time. Every update is aimed at improving the user experience.

6. The inclusion of B.TXT seems like a significant addition to the BLOCX. suite. Could you explain how this decentralized messenger functions and its benefits for users?

It is indeed. This initiative was something our community asked for, and with our extra manpower, we assigned a special team specifically for this purpose. The decentralized messenger is truly decentralized, meaning there is no central authority, and it goes beyond end-to-end encryption to ensure true decentralization. It operates such that masternode operators can set up servers. Initially, they will act as intermediaries, facilitating communication when a user logs in and chooses a server, which is a masternode. Once a user is in, they can call, message, send crypto, or video call another user. However, before any of this can happen, the two users must be connected. This connection is established when User 1 sends their encrypted IP to the masternode, and User 2 does the same. The masternode then exchanges these encrypted IP addresses between the users and subsequently steps out of the process. This is how one user connects to another, allowing them to chat with each other with no central authority involved. Data will only be saved to each user’s device, and only if both parties agree. If one user chooses not to save the data, then the other cannot do so either, agreement from both sides is necessary. This approach exemplifies true decentralization.

7. With the introduction of the AI Section in BLOCX. Desktop V1.2, how is artificial intelligence integrated into the platform, particularly in addressing crypto-related queries?

Our first addition to the AI section will be the ChatBot, developed in collaboration with PAALAI. The ChatBot is similar to CHATGPT, but it offers different modes. Some modes are for regular conversation, while others are tailored for analyzing specific coins or answering crypto-related queries. There are two modes available for this purpose: Gecko and Analyze. Users can switch to the Crypto mode to research anything they want to know about cryptocurrency.

8. How does BLOCX. ensure the security and privacy of user data, especially with features like the B.TXT messenger and Webwallet upgrade?

At BLOCX, we do not collect user data and believe that everyone should be in charge of their own data and details. We are a decentralized platform; the only assistance we provide to users is through our security layer, which includes our Malware Section, continuously advanced over time. Users will be connected to B.TXT or Webwallet or our software with the wallet. For this, they will need a secret phrase containing 18 words. Subsequently, the account is protected by a custom password and PIN. To ensure security, users will have to backup their seed phrase. Our Wallet System functions similarly to Metamask.

9. Could you provide more details on the X11 algorithm and how it contributes to network security and energy efficiency within the BLOCX. ecosystem?

Sure, as you know, the X11 algorithm consists of 11 different hashing functions, making it one of the most secure blockchains available. The X11 algorithm is powered by miners, and there is an additional layer of security provided by Masternodes. Masternodes are in place to ensure that ChainLocks are implemented, making double-spend attacks impossible on our network. Regarding our ecosystem, we aimed for a bulletproof network to support us. Speed is not our priority, nor are we building an EVM-compatible blockchain. Our main goal is to deliver security and convenience to our users.

10. The BLOCX. platform operates without data collection and connects directly with users’ wallets. How does this architecture contribute to decentralization and user empowerment within the ecosystem?

I believe your question was answered by the second question, which focused on decentralization. Our software, apps, and solutions are all powered and interconnected through a wallet. Unlike some software that requires you to register an account and provide your email, in our case, only wallet registration is necessary. Thus, the user’s account is their wallet, and our wallet is 100% decentralized, with no data collection, and everything is stored on the user’s side. This is how our ecosystem operates: everything is connected through the wallet. So, if you have saved any passwords on your device or transferred crypto, all of it is linked to the wallet, which is, in turn, protected by a password and PIN.
