THERE’S COMFORT IN LOSS!

Are you dealing with the pain of having lost someone? Have you buried a loved one or lost a relationship with someone you considered to be a life-long partner? Are you experiencing the weight of having to start all over again? Or is the pain so deep that it has changed your perspective in life — and now just to avoid the risk of going through the pain again, you’ve decided from now on to go at it all alone? Losing someone you love is particularly difficult for anyone. The pain of loss can cause someone to ask, “God, Why? Why did you allow this to happen? Where are you?”.

God understands the language of sighs, and tears, meditation, earnest heart desires and wishes of the man or woman of faith. In 𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐬 𝟑𝟒:𝟏𝟖 the Word of God says “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭.”

While you might be under the weight of failed expectations and pain, you must know that our heavenly Father is closer to you than ever, and He gives us the grace of enablement to endure whatever life may bring. But beware! Our enemy, satan, the architect of all pain, takes delight in deep hurt and uses it to distort our vision, to bring us to view God and ourselves in a bad light. Make no mistake! Satan wants us to curse God while under trial, pain, and affliction and be numbered among those abandoned to wander this life aimlessly, without hope, and without direction.

Receive courage! Take a step back and wait to see what God has to say about the situation, and don’t allow the enemy to make you lose your focus! When we accept adversity, enduring every pain, then we would learn what we should know and our grief will turn to gain.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: “Heavenly Father, you are not a man that lies, and Your Word says that Your sheep know Your voice”. Grant me ears to hear, and eyes to see what You have to say about my situation. Position me where You would be interested in everything I do and say. Locate me, Lord, in Your mercy and comfort me in my affliction. Speak to me with healing in Your Words and fix the things I didn’t know were hurt – In Jesus’ mighty name.
