Itto Talents

What is the most important when you make a team comp in Genshin Impact is to remember that your characters must work together. Their talents need to assist each other and only via reactions. Some characters have talents that will change the whole impression about them when you see their talents.

Like any other character, Itto has two types of talents – active and passive. The whole description of Itto’s skills (talents) you can read via the link. In this post, we focus on the basic strategies and will explain what Itto talents are worth paying attention to. Let’s start with talent priority for Arataki Itto.

Talent Priority for Itto

Fight Club Legend > Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil! > Masatsu Zetsugi: Akaushi Burst!

Fight Club Legend is Itto’s Normal Attack. You would use Itto as the main DPS and thus his normal attack is needed to deal damage between Elemental Bursts. But also Arataki Itto’s normal attack has something special. You can perform 4 attacks in a row and his attack combo doesn’t reset even after a sprint or Elemental skill.

Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil! is Itto’s Elemental Burst. The trick of this talent is that all sources of Arataki Itto’s damage will change to GEO damage. That is important to know when you build a team for him. So you will need to take someone like Gorou to increase GEO damage that Itto deals.

Masatsu Zetsugi: Akaushi Burst! is Itto’s Elemental Skill. You will need to use it because it spawns a bull that stacks 1 Superlative Superstrength every 2s if being hit. Also, the bull deals Geo damage and taunts enemies.

Itto Ascension Passives

The other important thing is to know how exactly character ascension enhances them and what advantages you can get out of it for your team-building strategy. We what to attract your attention to the following Itto Ascension Passives.

Arataki Ichiban

1st Ascension Passive

When Arataki Itto uses consecutive Arataki Kesagiri, he obtains the following effects:
Each slash increases the ATK SPD of the next slash by 10%. Max ATK SPD increase is 30%.
Increases his resistance to interruption.
These effects will be cleared once he stops performing consecutive slashes.

So Itto becomes an unstoppable melee damaging machine.

Bloodline of the Crimson Oni

4th Ascension Passive

Arataki Kesagiri DMG is increased by 35% of Arataki Itto’s DEF.

Time to stack DEF and farm appropriate Artifacts for Arataki Itto.

Depending on what we have written above we will continue with character combinations that will suit Genshin Impact Itto team the most.

As for the constellations. Every new Constellation improves Itto’s damage and influences the choice of the team. For example, on C2 Itto would need Geo teammates as every Geo teammate will decrease his Elemental Burst Cooldown by 1.5s and restore 6 Energy to Arataki Itto. On Itto C4 you would definitely need Gorou in a team because among other bonuses Itto will increase all nearby party members’ DEF by 20%. So that Itto will buff Gorou who will buff Itto depending on Gorou’s DEF stat.

Genshin Impact Itto Team Comp Options

There are several roles that all characters obtain in Genshin Impact. Your perfect team would consist of the Main DPS, 2 SUB-DPS characters and one Support. Main DPS is occupied by a character that can deal a decent amount of damage from all sources, auto attacks, elemental reactions and elemental bursts. Sub DPSs are needed to activate reactions that boost the main DPS’ damage or deal some extra damage while the main DPS is sticking their elemental burst. Support can vary typically it is a healer/shielder, but in some cases, it can be a battery (the character that stacks elemental burst for the team) or a spreader (the character that can spread reactions activated by all the characters).

Itto is a classical main DPS who can focus on physical damage but it is way better to make him a full GEO main DPS. But that will require a good team to assure that Itto’s Elemental Burst charges as fast as possible. Below you can see some options for different Genshin Impact Itto team comps that we find decent. But let’s start from the Genshin Impact free to play Itto team comp.

Genshin Impact FREE TO PLAY Itto team

This team works fine if you don’t have better options. Geo Traveler and Noelle will decrease Itto’s CD for Elemental Burst. Also, Noelle will heal and provide shields and her Elemental Burst will increase Itto’s damage. Xiangling will provide additional reaction for Crystalized reaction.

If you prefer ranged characters you can change Xiangling for Amber. Or you can take another reaction and pick Kaeya or Lisa.

The BEST Itto team

Arataki Itto will be a good main DPS because he can deal a lot of damage from attacks. His attacks deal geo damage so your team should contain characters that can boost Geo damage, like Gorou. Albedo is good for that purpose too and thanks to his abilities he is a good sub-DPS too. In any case, you will need at least one other strong Geo character to activate Geo resonance that gives defensive and offensive bonuses that work for Itto perfectly. Raiden is a perfect sub-DPS in almost any team. Use her during the downtime of Itto’s Elemental Burst.

Full Geo Arataki Itto team

In this case, you will get the maximum bonus from Gorou’s skill that increases damage depending on the number of Geo characters in the team and getting the bonus for CD reduction for Itto’s Elemental Burst. So potentially you will get a lot of Geo damage and strong shields from Zhongli. Albedo will be a string sub-DPS with geo damage as well. But to make this team work as an SS tier team you will need C4 Itto.

You can also change Albedo or Zhingli for the characters from above. But only if you don’t have them or one of them.

Other notable Itto team

This team mostly focuses on batteries from Electro reactions. Potentially this is a good team while you don’t have C4 Itto to play a better team.

Extra characters that will work well with Arataki Itto: (NOT A TEAM)

They are good in some comps depending on your playstyle. Bennett is a good healer and top 1 support in the Spiral Abyss.

How to make personal Genshin Impact Itto team?

If none of the listed above you don’t like or you don’t have some characters mentioned in Itto teams you can really on the following tips.

  • Try to get C4 Itto if possible.
  • For top-team always use Gorou (better C6).
  • Take other Geo characters to reduce Itto’s CD for Elemental Burst.
  • Pick a strong sub-DPS to change to it when Itto’s Burst is on CD.

Keeping these tips in mind you will definitely find your way to play Arataki Itto. And don’t forget to share it with us!
