It seems that Kanye West, at least at the moment of this publication, may have taken a quick one on fans again. It was on that date last year that he announced on September 29, 2018 that Yandhi would hit the roads. The day came and went, and we’re still waiting for Ye to deliver one year ago.

Midnight this morning was a disappointment for those who stayed up until the morning wee hours hoping to receive Jesus Is King, but there was an audience of Kanye’s Detroit admirers in for a treat. The rapper hosted an event at the Fox Theater in Motor City where Jesus Is King was presented in its entirety.

The day for the west coast isn’t over yet, so fans are holding out hope that he will still make his promised release date of September 27, but for now we’re just going to have to grab as many bits and pieces of the album from the Fox Theater case shared videos on social media.

Jesus Is King of Kanye may not be here yet, but the merch of the album has just been added to the website of the rapper. Detroit supporters were the first to buy the Jesus Is King threads at Ye’s listening case, and they are now accessible online.
