Xenophobia: Nigerian Embassy in South Africa shuts out victims

Victims of the rampaging xenophobic assault has accused the Nigerian Embassy in South Africa of shutting down their doors for assistance and security against them.

According to some victims of the attack who visited the Nigerian Embassy, they were denied entry into the property.

This response resulted in other Nigerians having to remain in their homes, afraid in order not to emerge the next victims as there have been threats of more attacks.

Reports also claims children and adults have lost their lives in the attack which saw indigenes burn properties, homes, and businesses belonging to Nigerians and other African Nationals.

Reacting to this, well meaning and concerned citizens have taken to their various twitter handles call out the Nigeran Embassy in South Africa for shutting its citizens out in such a time as this.
