President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked seven Service Chiefs over different allegation of non performance. Also some were sacked due to alleged scandals such as abuse of office, corruption, mismanagement of funds, while some were removed after expiration of their tenures.
Buhari sacks Dr. Muiz Banire
Dr. Muiz Banire—Chairman Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON). He’s removal was believed to be in tandem with the amended AMCOM act.

Buhari sacks Barr. Bisi Adegbuyi
Barr. Bisi Adegbuyi—Postman general of the federation, Nigeria Postal Service ( NIPOST) He was replaced by Dr. Ismail Adewusi.
Buhari sacks Fowler
Babatunde Fowler—Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS); He was sacked for not meeting revenue target.
