Madisyn Shipman was born on November 20, 2002, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. When Shipman was five, she began working with a talent agency that helped her land 3 different roles on Saturday Night Live, as well as roles on Sesame Street and on stage.

Madisyn Shipman also writes songs and plays guitar since she was 8. Since 2015, she landed the main role as Kenzie Bell, a girl who is one of the co-founders of the titular game company, in the TV series Game Shakers produced by Dan Schneider.

Shipman stars as Kenzie, a true genius who is brilliant with anything technical, yet lacks a social filter. Madisyn is a passionate musician with a love for all genres, especially classic rock and pop.

She is an avid guitar collector and songwriter who also enjoys jamming out on her keyboard and ukulele. She adores the beaches of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, where she surfs and plays with her three very active younger brothers.
