DD India is India's International English news and current affairs channel, now available in high definition. DD India is not only reaching every home in India, but even the service is also available in overseas.

As It is similar to BBC World News from the UK, Russia Today from Russia, Al Jazeera TV from Qatar, DW TV from Germany, France24 from France, VOA channels from the USA, NHK World from Japan,  and broadcast through satellite and cable operators throughout the world as well as online and through its mobile apps. 

DD India channel became a full-fledged English news and current affairs channel in January 2019. Earlier DD India channel was airing DD Metro's / DD National's programs for other country viewers. But after the internet revolution, now anybody can watch India's favorite TV shows, programs, and movies online. So Prasar Bharti rebranded the DD India channel as an International English news and current affairs channel.

DD India HD channel also available on DD Free Dish on channel number 107 or DD Free dish Slot Number 618. DD India HD channel is available at the place of DD News HD. DD News HD is not available on the DTH platform due to limited space.
