Cat Scratch Game

Cat Scratch is one of the spooky games that kids play during sleepovers. A few examples of frightening games include Bloody Mary and Candy Man along with that the Ouija board. While this game doesn’t make a wicked woman appear in your mirror, or demons to break into your home, if it is played right, it can create great fear.

  • To be able to play it is necessary to have at least two players. If more than 2 are playing together, that’s okay as well.
  • The person sitting in the first position is straight either on the ground or on a couch. Person 2 lies down and rests their head on the lap of the person who is in. When more than 2 persons are in the room, they should form a circle around people 1 and 2.
  • Person 1 must apply pressure to the temples of person 2 as if they were animals being loved.
  • Person 1 will begin to tell one of the two stories.

    • Story 1.
      • There was once an old lady who had an animal. The cat was extremely nice. It purred and meowed. The cat was hit by a vehicle and ended up dying. Cat scratch, scratch and cat scratch. The elderly lady was given an all-new cat. The cat was extremely mean. It yelled and scratched. Cat scratch, cat scratch cat scratch. A few days ago, the cat was struck by a car and passed away. The elderly lady decided not to get any more cats. Cat scratch, scratch, scratching cat.
    • Or, story 2:
      • You’re walking down an alleyway that is dark the night. There is only one person there. The ground is slippery with rain. The alley is brimming with trash cans and trash. Then you hear something. The garbage bins. You speed up your pace. You’re determined to clear the alley quickly. Then you notice something. Red eyes. The eyes of a red cat are glowing. They’re the eyes of a huge cat. You are running but the cat pursues your feet and then jumps onto you. It scratches you. One three, two. Cat scratch, scratch, scratch!
  • When the story is finished, the second person should rise and expose their back. If done correctly, 2 to 3 scratches will appear on their backs, however, the person shouldn’t feel any pain.

If there are no marks Try again using the text that Player 1 could not understand.

It is best to play during the nighttime because of the terror aspect. If you choose to believe that this game is working then there is a great likelihood that it’ll be successful. The marks tend to fade rapidly and there’s no risk in playing this game.

Many people worldwide believe that games such as Bloody Mary and Cat Scratch are bogus. Many believe they are based on this concept known as group Hypnosis. Group Hypnosis is the belief that if you put your faith in enough it can occur. A good example is a game of light as a feather and stiff as a board. There is no method of lifting an individual with just two fingers in each hand. However, in this game, it’s feasible to be able to lift some. The hypnosis component is in play. If the entire group believes that the game is going to be successful the game will.

If you can prove it is played with hypnosis in groups, you must also argue that the game may function because of ghosts. Ghosts are believed to be the “ghost” that the cat is believed to be summoned, and will eventually claw the back of Player 2. That’s when the fear factor comes into play. You are conditioned to be convinced that the ghost will in and rub your back and you are convinced, with all your heart that it happens.
