Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is getting a Holi Dhamaka 1.9.0 update this month that brings a new holiday-themed mode and two Sky Islands. The March BGMI update is specially designed to celebrate the Festival of Colors. It brings the Holi Dhamaka Theme mode as well as Rainbow Plaza and Camp. The latest Battlegrounds Mobile India update also includes a new playground that is larger and includes an indoor shooting range. There are also enhancements to enhance your gaming experience.

One of the biggest changes in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 1.9.0 is the Holi Dhamaka theme mode which you can access by pressing the arrow button on the bottom right of the Erangel and Livik maps under the Class tongue.

Once you enter the Holi Dhamaka Theme Mode, two different sky islands will appear on the Erangel and Livik maps which will have different terrain characteristics. One of the sky islands has a pyramid reminiscent of Egypt, while the other has a winter-themed ice castle.

After landing on a Sky Island, you’ll see your character’s face change into an emoji-like circle. It will grow when hit by the enemy. The head will inflate to the maximum and begin to float in the air once the character is defeated. However, teammates can save the floating player by shooting them.

Your character’s circle head will also be a certain color. There are four sectors in each Sky Island, and Hex Shop pieces of different colors appear in each sector. If you collect the coins of the same color as your character’s face, you will be able to collect those coins faster. You can also change face color with transformation devices around Sky Island.

You can use the coins you collect on Sky Island once you land on the ground.

After the right time is up, Sky Islands are closed and players on them will fall to the ground. You will also reach the ground when defeated by an enemy on one of the islands. Additionally, you can jump from Sky Island to return to the ground.

In addition to Sky Islands, the Holi Dhamaka update brings Rainbow Plaza and Camp around Erangel. These areas include new terrain and interactive entities. If you interact with one of these entities, crates will appear.

Rainbow Square and Camp also include the bike as a new vehicle. It can let you jump higher and does not require fuel or battery. However, you may become more vulnerable to an enemy attack since you cannot use your weapons while riding your bike.

The bike in the game is a portable mountain bike that can fit in your backpack and can be used anytime by taking it out.

Along with the updates of Holi Dhamaka, the latest version of BGMI has the new playing field which is wider. It comes with the indoor shooting range where players can practice shooting by choosing any gun of their choice.

The Playground update also includes a racking mini-game where you can compete with your friends and practice driving on the tracks alone.

Krafton has also improved the Sosnovka Bridge on the Erangel map of Battlegrounds Mobile India with new detours. The bridge connecting the military base also included a wider road and an improved bunker with new pedestrian walkways.

Random mode has also been added to ranked and unranked matching in BGMI. It helps players to select the desired map and play with random match.

The new version of BGMI also includes improved audio quality to let players know the direction of footsteps and gunshots better in Arena mode.

The Livik:Aftermath map you can play in BGMI Unclassified The tab has also been improved. It includes simplified interior building structures and modified city areas.

Since the BGMI update has just been announced, it might reach your device in the next few days. Exact rollout details were not provided by the developer, however.
